82 Budget supercharger build

Hi, I知 in the progress of mounting an m90 from the ford 3.8 on my 82 gs. I知 using the stock nikki intake with an plenum to the m90. Ill be running drawthrough with either my current 42 dcoe or my 51mm Weber style throttle bodies and my haltech f9. Doing everything on a Highschool budget, but so far I致e made some good progress. I致e gone through about 6 design iterations for the intake itself, and settled on a simple one just made from 3/8 plate and 3x3 aluminum tubing. I cut the flanges on a cnc machine and should have it done and welded soon enough. To drive the supercharger, I have the Atkins multi vee/ serpentine pulley set. I知 switching to an aluminum radiator and e-fans today. I値l keep you guys updated as this goes along, and any advice would be appreciated.

Here痴 a more final mockup with the tilt of the intake manifold accounted for, I知 realizing I will need to find a tensioner that will make sure the water pump is being driven after this extra pulley is added

Update

I haven稚 updated in a while but I致e gotten it running recently, I made a designed a couple new intake components as well as a belt tensioner to tension against the water pump. Next up is making the 3d printed components out of aluminum, and then finishing my haltech install. Running it with the carb right now for simplicity

It is always cool to see a supercharged rotary. How much power do you estimate it to make?

I知 hoping for around 200 running moderate boost. It痴 a Stockport engine with some decent miles but still good compression. I might play with e85 depending on heat/power

Been a while without an update, but I have now gotten the car running on the haltech with a few more custom made pieces.

I made an injector block out of aluminum and have mounted 4 1000cc injectors with custom made fuel rails. The car idles well, but I need to swap throttle cables to make it drive able. Further, I need to adjust my timing and swap fuels to avoid blowing up this engine. I知 only planning on about 6 psi right now, but still with a NA engine I would very much like to avoid a rebuild right now.
