82 12A build

I've recently purchased an 82 rx7 with a 12a of questionable integrity. I'm currently in the process of removing the engine from my smashed 85. Wondering how I'm going to build some ponies and which port would last the longest and make the most power. I'm thinking either street port/ d port or PP. Might have to turbo/supercharge if not satisfied. More pictures to come.

cool. P port is much fun, fairly easy to do, but its not a great street combo (it wants to run, and not be stuck behind a toyota), and a turbo PP isn't a great idea. if you live somewhere where you can let the PP run, its the only way to go

the turbo basically works best with a stockish port.

Thanks J, your always quick to respond. I was thinking street to keep my options open. Is D-port for the exhaust port a good combination?

Front housing is F'ed, the eccentric shaft appears to have gotten a little too hot?

More pics..

Probably going to price up a 13bT as the cost to even run 12a's is outrageous...
