this little bastard.......... this is where the tee fitting is for the coolant under the oil mount. i couldn't yank it out so i cut it off now i'm trying to get it out of the motor so i can plug the whole up and install the motor. which IS happening tomorrow lol. i also have a new pitman arm and a full energy suspension kit with an aftermarket alt. tensioner to install as well

after much cussing and thoughts of selling the car the motor and trans have been installed! i've gotten the clutch line hooked up and intake bolted up. i did however find another issue...... the stainless oil lines i got from racing beat are not long enough to reach the oil cooler. at the moment i'm modifying the aftermarket alt tensioner to fit with my gilmer drive.

got an aftermarket alt. tensionor from Bonzie racing, but had to modify it to fit with the gilmer belt drive
after cutting it down and drilling a new hole the factory mounting spot would not work. it would hit the dizzy so i mounted it a little farther in and it works great.
still a long way to go, but it's in!

So this morning I woke up to a message from my buddy saying that they are porting out my car and included a Craigslist link. So I looked it up and it turned out to be the guy who I traded y old widebody to. I texted him and found out that the car was gone, but he kept a lot of the parts like the rims, pulleys and much much more....... I ended up getting it all back for free . I also scored an SA front bumper and a light wight flywheel.... Things are looking up!

Well it looks as though I will have to do some crazy mods to my car....... Seeing how respeed has crapped out and I cannot get a big brake kit anymore. Not really sure what to do about suspension now either.

Modified the oil cooler today to make it fit. Then started hacking up my $150 racing beat oil lines to make them fit as well. Also ordered a 3 row radiator today.

Man! Somehow I got the pics all out of order...... You guys get the idea lol I had forgotten about hooking up the fuel return hose so the look of it will change next week. I spent about $200 on just AN fittings and hose this weekend! This car is getting very expensive and I have a lot more to do!!!!!!

Yep, I was in the same boat. Best bet I've seen is just to do the FC front sub-frame swap. You get the better brakes spindles and rack and pinion steering, FC coil-overs are easy to find as well. From what I've seen on build threads it's not really all that hard of a swap.
