horrid engine bay I plan on cleaning up one day.

So I put the rear bumper back on, I dont really like the look so Ill probably pull it back off and gear the bits where paint is missing repaired, maybe fill in some of the un-needed holes aswell.

Put some time into polishing the lips of the wheels yesterday, came up a treat.

Thats my build so far. I plan on doing abit more to the car in the new year and making it a little more setup, I just install the 4.7 diff gears so havent had a chance to test them yet.

Thanks guys,

It still has a while to go until I'm happy with it but I really want to start driving it more often.

I think the 12a in stock from is really under-estimated, I have no troubles keeping up with my buddy in his 180sx with a modified sr20, was even pulling him in enough that we were close to door to door. I still haven't driven with the 4.7 diff gears yet so I'm super excited to see how it is. I was having alot of issues with 2nd gear being too short but 3rd being too long, so constantly switching between the 2 and putting alot of un-needed stress on the stock clutch and box.

I believe it's a Group C wing, no longer in production, quite hard to find.

It's been a cheap hobby so far, tyres are costing abit now that I refuse to use 2nd hand tyres, they just wear too fast.

Mods, nothing major, just seat time, locked diff and a hydraulic handbrake to get you started.

To be honest with you, I can't find a single bit of info on them. They're 1pce original CR01's but there is not a single thing about them on the internet. There's 2 other sets in australia that I know and one set is 4x114.3 and the ohter is 4x100. I would LOVE to buy another set but never seen them again and I just happened to find these on ebay US.

Fitted new seat on a FC Bride rail, works so good! Lined up with no issues, modded stock rails to work with the bride brix ii that I have to use a passenger seat. Only issue is on the drivers side one of the threads is abit worn so the bolt won't go up super tight so going to have to get a tap and die and try and clean it up.

Took it out on friday night, had alot of issues with rear end binding up, sounded like something broke but was still going fine, so I jacked up yesterday to find my right hand side rear caliper broke a bolt and other was loose from moving so much and dug to big gouges in the back sides of my Magnum 5 slots, then checked the other side and the handbrake mech looks like its seized up in the on position.

So I need new rear calipers! In other news, bought a 16" thermo fan, cooling issues are gone!

Cool video in pan -

I did it crash it for the first time ever and wasn't bad, just backed it into the barrier where everyone is standing at the end, bent the reo and bent rear bar, no problems!

Picked this up for cheap, 13b turbo, Megasquirt ECU, Hilux Diff, fc front suspension with Cusco Coilovers by the looks of things. I'm going to steal motor and box and computer and put it into my shell.

Yes, that's a fc3s front end Haha.

Thanks!

Test fitted some wheels over my hilux diff to see if I can fit 14's.

14x8j 0 offset, sit nicely, I could run 8's 0 on the back no worries with stretch so thats cool, diff is a good width, these 14's just hit the calipers but im thinking it comes down to the wheel design. Im going to get the new diff redrilled to 4x114.3 and get some new 4x114.3 hubs for the front and get rid of the hub/rotor combo that have going on and run proper wheel studs.

Cracked open the ECU and it is a MSii so thats a huge plus, Just waiting on a netbook, wideband 02 sensor, and trailing coils so I can finally start tuning it.

Bought some new bits and pieces.

Power Spirit T04E 0.61 Rear housing, probably a little small but not chasing power

Tial 38mm Watercooled Gate

Innovate wideband 02 kit and autometer liquid filled boost gauge

Stainless Manifold

These are about to leave Japan

Impul Pro Mesh 14x7 +4 and 14x8 -8

and I am bidding on these

Impul Pro Mesh AERO DISC 14x6 +20 14x6.5 +14

Need to order new coilovers, have a badass suspension setup in mind, if it works, I'll be onto something for sure.

Thanks,

Getting close was intentional and ended up biting me in the *** at the end of the night as I went backwards and collected them lol. It's a big pan, big enough for me to grab 3rd gear in.

Suspension is back to standard, sold it to a buddy of mine so just waiting for funds to order new front and rear coilovers.
