Finally starting to build this car. She is currently stock, soon to not be though. Here are my current plans for the car in general.
Engine: Full bridge port 12A, water jacket modification, Long primary exhaust, Long primary intake using a Weber DCOE carb, Aluminum radiator, E-fan, front mount oil cooler, remote mount oil filter.
Drive-train: Original tranny, short throw shifter, lightened steel flywheel, stage 2 or 3 clutch, rear end is currently in question.
Suspension/Wheels: Original Toyota Supra wheels spaced out 1" due to lug pattern adapter, cut springs for now. Eventually I will lower the car properly for optimum performance. I might swap to an SE front end and put in a independent rear end eventually.
Body: Unless I can find or fabricate the exact body kit I want, she's staying original FB styling.
Interior: Restoring it to original for the most part. Upgrading the seats and seat belt to bucket and 5 point harness for safety and comfort. Upgrading the stereo, 2 12" subs in the rear storage compartments. Adding all necessary gauges to observe and ensure proper operation.
That's pretty much the plans for the car. The goal is to have a purpose built show car keeping to FB roots, that's track capable and 'streetable'. I use that word very loosely, haha. I am open to any form of input and ask for advice/pointers as this build progresses. I will try my best to keep this thread updated.
