OH 1983 FB 2.4L Duratec Swap

Hi all, thought I'd share my build. As much as I wish it still had a rotary in it I'm very excited to get driving it soon (hopefully haha)
I took this car home to Ohio around a year ago after a very long trip to chicago. It was formerly an SCCA track car and has been all across the states, so this trip was nothing for this ole machine.

What it looked like in 1997

I bought it knowing it had a blown engine, but I couldn't resist the FB body style and was looking for a fun project and something I could potentially build up for stage rally

Here's a look at the carnage

I pulled the engine, and rebuilt the 2.5L duratec as a forged 2.4L "Scalpel" engine from FAB9 built for boost

While I had it pulled out I went down the rabbit hole of "why not" and tore it all apart to get rewired with deutsch connectors and a lightened harness

After building the engine, and reassembling and resealing it went back in, and this is roughly where I'm at now

I hate wiring...
Anyways, this is all I've got at the moment, thanks for taking a look!

Those pics with the HEIC extension don't display well on the forum. They download and then I had to click them to open them in windows.
