Little update for June 2022...
Started noticing a slight clunking noise in the rear. Checking the pillow ***** and will be replacing them if any are bad.
AirCon started giving me problems so it is going back into the AC shop to get the r134a figured out.
Have my @Xavier Borg Igniter to install and test out. Still have a Denso Supra TT fuel pump to install.
Some new JDM goodies on the way too... stay tuned. BTW, Dollar to Yen conversion is best it has ever been in 28 years.

Yup, the Dollar to Yen is in your favor, I have been picking up some goodies from YJA as well.

Installed my @Xavier Borg FD-IGN-10XB igniter. Super simple install and ran FCTweakPro to set up the new dwell times. My car always fired up quickly, but now it is almost instantaneous! Revs sound smoother. I’ll get a good drive in it this weekend with more of a review!

While not rotary content, my daily driver is getting some love this month. 2020 STI I bought new in December of 2020. So glad I did since Subaru announced the 2021 being the last year of the STI for now. A great daily with new tech yet old skool feel.
Currently I have Cobb accessport, intake and a Revel exhaust.
New shipment from Japan of some JDM Beatrush goodies and some Advan RZ-F2 wheels in bronze.
All clean and ceramic coated
18x10 +40 square setup
Titanium Pulley Cover

So added a new family member to the garage. 1996 JDM Supra RZ-S 6MT.
I do have some mods on it, but plan to change some of the car up from its previous Japanese owner.
I have a full titanium Tomei exhaust in bound as well as a GReddy FMIC. Going to lower it a little more and get some wider tires. Also looking forward to the new lip I have for it, as well as some LED sidemarkers. Going to clean her up and get paint correction and ceramic coating done. The 2JZGTE pulls strong and excited to do some OEM+ love.

@Carlos Iglesias I actually owned a 1994 Supra TT Auto back in 2014. Funny story was that when I went to register this Supra, the tag office checked for any tag credits. When she did, she found a tag credit from a "1994 Toyota Supra." I laughed pretty hard because of the coincidence.
Having the 6MT is a lot better. The car will need some of my TLC to restore it to the minty-ness I desire.
Car came with an extremely rare and expensive TRD steering wheel and a SARD boost gauge.
Also equally rare, the Confetti Recaro seats. Now, all three of my cars, the STI, RX-7, and Supra sport Recaros!
Installed a brand new Pioneer head unit. So now the car has wireless Apple CarPlay.
I've ordered a bunch of OEM Toyota parts, nuts, bolts, etc. to get rid of any crummy looking ones. I look forward to the paint correction and ceramic coating like I did for the RX-7. The new exhaust and some other goodies will definitely make the car look and sound better. I'll gain some performance but I'm not looking to do anything more than BPU. I have no desire to go single turbo, much for the same reasons as for my FD. I enjoy the immediate response of the twin turbo setup. The JDM Supras actually make less HP than the USDM version due to running ceramic blades on the twin turbos vs steel. They handle less boost but boost is more immediate. JDM Supras were designed more for response than for highway driving like their USDM counterparts.
As for driving impressions, you definitely feel the weight of the Supra vs and RX-7. However, the build quality of a Toyota from the 90s was much better than the Mazda. You don't feel as if anything is going to snap or break. The RX-7 is still a better driving car and I enjoy driving it more spiritedly than the Supra. The Supra is great for cruising and is much roomier. Honestly, they are both amazing cars from a bygone era. I just think most people ruin them by overdoing the horsepower and stuff. The engineers who designed these cars were ahead of their time and enjoying them in their intended form, with a bit more horsepower and noise is never a bad thing.

Sir, appreciate the always reliable perspective on the differences.
... and more importantly, it ironically reflects your rotary garb in a Supra screen perfectly!
What you talking 'but Willis... mea culpa maxima!!

@Carlos Iglesias Not your car… yours actually sees track work. I’m talking about 700-1000hp Supras lol
Supra looks great, Pete! We need to get together again at some point!

So did a few upgrades to the garage by adding some LED lighting. Total of 9 lights hung up and pretty easy to install. Dramatically changed the lighting and made it much easier to work on the cars. (Pardon the dirty cars)
Fueled up the RX-7 in anticipation of Hurricane Ian. While I'm glad we didn't get another CAT5 where I live (Hurricane Michael 2018), hopefully nobody forgets the suffering that is going on in SW FL right now. Help/Donate where you can!

So I started to do a couple things to upgrade the Supra. Installed a Koyo Radiator (not pictured), new front lip, and some clear LED sidemarkers. I'm still waiting on my GReddy FMIC to arrive. Can see the new Tomei box...
Front lip installed!
First thing was to install the new downpipe as well as a complete Tomei Titanium Exhaust. So the car is now running a Titanium Midpipe and Catback. It sounds incredible. I removed the old TRUST exhaust which had clearly seen better days. Along with that was the cat.
New downpipe marked for the Wideband O2.
Tomei Titanium Goodness. Also replaced a TON of OEM parts. The exhaust hangers and other nuts/bolts throughout the car got new minty OEM Toyota parts.
So I drove the car around for a day... and noticed there appeared to be some squeaky noise coming from the engine bay. Upon inspection I believed that I saw my crank pulley running at two different speeds. The crank pulley has a harmonic balancer on it made of rubber. They are known with age/time to delaminate (separate) and cause major issues if not caught in time. So, to test my theory, I used some white out to mark the pulley and crank the engine over to see if the marks moved from one another. Sure enough, they did, and so a new crank pulley was on hand.
Here you can see once I took the belt off the pulley had completely separated. In fact, it was starting to rub on the timing cover and chewed a hole in it. Luckily the timing belt and everything else was just fine. Ordered new timing cover to replace the old one. Also replaced the accessory belt tensioner damper that was also shot.
Now, a lot of Supra guys will say you need a Fluidampr or ATI crank pulley when replacing the OEM one. However, I'm not making big horsepower and the OEM one works perfectly fine for my application. If I ever decide to upgrade the twinturbos to a single unit, the Crank pulley is an easy replacement.
All cleaned up. Also installed my HKS SQV4 BOV, because Supra.

The fleet is looking good, Pete! You still need to get over here to Pensacola one of these days
That pic of your car at the gas station makes me want to hurry up and get my sad car painted!
