FL From trash to ?

Well I'll start off saying I probably shouldn't have bought this car in the first place and probably over payed haha but it is what it is but it is a clean title car with 58k miles. So I have another FD that I bought as way more of a basketcase I was building, after pricing out what I would need to get it on the road I decided paying more and buying a car that's pretty much complete would be a better idea financially. So I ended up with this, fortunately it has a Pettit built large street port motor, big single, etc, big injectors, etc unfortunately it was on stock ecu so the car barely made it on the trailer lol. The paint sucked on the car, and it had a sunroof, which I hate, the interior was swapped to black (besides tan door panels), but literally thrown into the car, lots of loose hose clamps, missing bolts, etc, but everything is there.

It's dark but the paint was WAY worse than it looks in the pictures.

roof

out with the old

Swapped another better hood I had since the one on it had some dents and a nicer bumper I had since the one on it was all wavy

Motor (needs alot of tidying I know lol)

Been going through and also restoring all the interior dash plastics and door panel plastics since they all always look like crap, trying to get body work finished up so it can go into paint within a week or so right now.

I enjoy the builds lol, this is cake work compared some others Im building. Basically just building a clean full interior street car, going to put AC back in it as well (Florida is hot haha), goals are around 450hp, something to drive to dinner in the evenings, etc, not really trying to build a race car or anything of the sort.

Well I haven't really kept up with the progress pictures lol but well here she is now, ALOT of work to get to this point, I've done literally 100% of everything myself, no friends help, nothing, all body work myself, etc, paid to have a glass company come out and put a new windshield in, that was it.

veal molding, when it came in yesterday it was the wrong part and they said they can't get a new one so gotta get an aftermarket one I guess, drove it for the first time today, besides needing a tune drive really well

Nice restoration, looks like a good job you've done there .

I'd like a similar project for next year.
