Alright well I turned the car to the on position and I looked at the fpr to set the pressure at 40 psi and well I couldn't get any pressure at all... We tried using the diagnostics connection to jump the pump for it would come on but it didn't work so I dunno where to go now... And ideas? I'm running a totally new fuel setup with 850 primarys and 1600 secondaries and a walbro 255 pump...

man.. to be honest with you.. im not trying to bad mouth rx7store.. but it took along time to process my order and get the stuff.. it took over a month.. and it came in 2 different times.. not to mention they couldnt give me a tracking number and stuff... twas a bad experience.
From what I've heard about Canadian post and Customs, I don't think a month for a package to get from Texas to BC is that unreasonable.

Are you sure you have the FPR lines hooked up right. had a freind of mine take his car to a "mechanic" so install the FPR. He could not get it started after the FRP install because his "mechanic" had the feed and return lines connected wrong.

also, make sure you have proper voltage at the pump. check it with a volt meter. white wire with red stripe is the +

hey everyone update time!!
so my car is back on vancouver island and it is running! turns out the crank angle sensor wasnt working. but now i have another question to add. my fuel pressure seems like it cant be set properly. my mechanic that has built his own race car from the ground up (reo baird) at vector auto in courtneay bc says the fuel pressure seems to be jumping around wildly like idle it will sit at 38psi (which is low?) then give it some gas and it shoots to 60psi.. its defintaley over fueling... any ideas?..

No offense man but I thought the widebody in your car was way worse than his especially those fenders that yours came with...Now I'm not a fan of his body kit either I just don't find it as offensive

Somebody needs to tell that girl to eat a sammich.

Edit: hate to be so critical, but here goes:

Consider cleaning your engine bay and interior before posting pictures. It's a shame to see it so dirty. Also toss that AST in the trash can, and find an air filter for your turbo.

One of the first things that popped in my head. That is a horrible placement like that, horrible.

OP take all this as constructive criticism.

1. Delete the AST asap, you have the filler neck that makes it super simple. Call Ray at Malloy Mazda and tell him you have an fd and you need the AST delete kit, I think it is $45.00.

2. Get that intercooler in front of the radiator, mount it correctly. You are pulling extremely hot air thru the intercooler. You would rather have coolant temps be 3-4 degrees celcius higher than having your intake temps be 20 degrees celcius higher.

Good luck.
