Rx7 restoration shops?
Hello guys I'm in need of some advice! I am wanting to do a build on a 93 FD with a LS swap, what I need is some shop names that are capable of body and paint along with the swap itself. My goal is a rocket bunny kit with a 99 spec front bumper so a shop that is very good with body kits is a must. I am located in WV but I would deliver the car a few hundred miles away from me if necessary, anyway give me some names if you can…

Go to http://www.norotors.com and find a good finished car a guy has spent a bunch on and give him 60 cents on the dollar.
The Rocket bunny stuff is kinda meh but you might get something finished bodywork wise too.

Well I already have all the parts to do the swap I'm more interested in a rx7 shop who handles paint, body and know the in and outs of Rx7's. A shop that can source parts that I might need and help me choose the right path to take…

Are you looking for a shop to do the actual swap? and then paint?
I would be interested in what they quote you for that because of everything it would involve with the hourly rate
I got quoted 30 k for aLS swap a few years ago and never pursued it simply because a fully sorted car in awesome shape was for sale on no rotors with all 99 spec,Volk wheels and a killer mod list for a few grand more.

No way would I pay even close to that. Paint and body I'm thinking 5 to 7k, install the drivetrain and sort out any issues maybe 5k. After all I have all the parts to do the swap.

5 to 7 k is not very much ......by the time someone says yes to your budget I would be worried about the quality of the work.
It's just my opinion but I would pay for a quality paint job and do the mechanicals myself,or vice versa.
Nothing is cheap with these cars and I do my own wrenching and paint whenever possible and I still have a folder full of receipts that would buy a nice car.

The title says "Restoration Shops", however what you are looking for is completely different.
Your budget may need adjusting, as most quality paint jobs alone can reach $10k easily, and that is without any custom work.
