I would advise removing as much stuff as you can before spraying anything. I'm sure you will re-upholster the seats, but aren't you getting overspray all over your dashboard and interior plastics? I wouldn't think scrubbing overspray off of all that stuff would be a good time. Your show though, brother. I'm just enjoying the ride.
Keep up the good progress. I come to the builds daily for this thread. Not the flashiest, but I bet I'll learn a trick or two. |
no overspray on the dash I cover it with a towel I know how hard it is to remove it takes more time removing it than covering it
This is not the final stage im just tired of looking at it in different colors black white red blue this is still gonna sit for a while parts are scattered everywhere if its not in the car I already got a plan going on but I just dont have the money to to do it once I get the coilovers wheels tand ires then im gonna hit the engine bay

so i was working on the sup last night and darn stubborn crank bolt pulley is stuck
so it made me think what if i slap on the volks for now on the fd!!!!! https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1647/...466e0907_o.jpg2 by nakahachi, on Flickr i didnt want to force it and break my tools or breaker bar so will be back tonight for some more tricks i tried heating it up but i ran out of propane https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1559/...960eb47e_o.jpg1 by nakahachi, on Flickr so this morning was hype out feeling better cause of allergies been sneezing a lot https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1685/...e1bdd61f_o.jpg3 by nakahachi, on Flickr 19x12 1/2 with 315 25 19 while at it i removed the old shocks and slapped on the teins i got 45 mins to do this got to drop off my son in school https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1713/...b22d7ffe_o.jpg8 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1487/...be7a2553_o.jpg9 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1503/...0bd2b68b_o.jpg10 by nakahachi, on Flickr freaking nice https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1661/...fd0ffd73_o.jpg11 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1579/...31b89338_o.jpg12 by nakahachi, on Flickr |

so today I bought some extended studs locally
store is from ebay but talked to them I could just pick it up and they said yes yes cool https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1617/...bce33bdc_z.jpg38 by nakahachi, on Flickr started to take out the rotors https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1546/...c89b1bb4_z.jpg31 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1512/...02ffc19b_z.jpg32 by nakahachi, on Flickr don't need to take this get pressed you can used a vise grip open nut a long washer and a little bit of muscle https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1589/...be1cdd93_z.jpg46 by nakahachi, on Flickr my technique you have to install the brakes so the vise grip would have some leverage when tightening the nut until it goes halfway https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1609/...fd17ce03_z.jpg45 by nakahachi, on Flickr after you do all of them install the rotors https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1662/...1156a715_z.jpg44 by nakahachi, on Flickr then jam a screwdriver when tightening you will be able to tell if its tight enough cause you can turn it anymore https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1498/...bf0e808a_z.jpg43 by nakahachi, on Flickr and there you go this is 50mm by the way https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1693/...43b23354_z.jpg42 by nakahachi, on Flickr installing the tires back https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1529/...d1d74a27_z.jpg41 by nakahachi, on Flickr its dark and a little bit high cause there is no engine https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1698/...13a9e96a_z.jpg39 by nakahachi, on Flickr |
so this morning I forgot to fix the passenger side skirt and fender door is hitting on it
I have to trim down a little bit https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1443/...b6ec8e85_z.jpg113 by nakahachi, on Flickr bolting it up https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1716/...3f68aae3_z.jpg114 by nakahachi, on Flickr checking it all good https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1620/...2a78e2da_z.jpg115 by nakahachi, on Flickr closes opens fine now https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1478/...dbd443bd_z.jpg116 by nakahachi, on Flickr |
so i borrowed my wifes dslr camera and just playing at 4 corners
https://farm1.staticflickr.com/767/2...167fcf57b1.jpgr1 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm1.staticflickr.com/589/2...6895a42f3d.jpgr25 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5759/...a935ec5abb.jpgr28 by nakahachi, on Flickr and reborn https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1687/...dafabf7c_k.jpgIMG_2733 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1553/...52313794_k.jpgIMG_2734 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1486/...c08c4f1f_k.jpgIMG_2735 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1608/...3ef3ae25_k.jpgIMG_2736 by nakahachi, on Flickr |
so I moved the car to the other side just to get a clearer mind
too much sh!@#$ next to it https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1686/...a47e0448_z.jpg1 by nakahachi, on Flickr have to start on the engine im cool with the body for now fd trans on the right still debating if im gonna use this cause theres a lot of mod involve specially the trigger sensor wheel is on the flywheel this is the killer here aside from the fd is a pull type I couldn't find a bellhousing for the 2200 also so theres a lot of factors to consider I don't want get a standalone maybe later want to get it running on stock ecu and just throw in a piggyback for tuning cause I m gonna go boosted on this compared to the existing transmission all I got to do is extend the shifter custom driveshaft and trans mount https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1527/...02c551d1_z.jpg2 by nakahachi, on Flickr checked the spark plugs still good https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1719/...798b4d8f_z.jpg6 by nakahachi, on Flickr did a compression test but my battery is dead so I just did a leakdown all cylinders are good https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1541/...d1d7a65f_z.jpg7 by nakahachi, on Flickr started taking it apart https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1523/...3322dc86_z.jpg4 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1621/...b33c4e6d_z.jpg3 by nakahachi, on Flickr this is where the trigger sensor on the bellhousing connected to the flywheel this is weird how they designed it https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1465/...b1509ecd_z.jpg5 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1506/...bd167be2_z.jpg9 by nakahachi, on Flickr clutch is shot of course https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1702/...e34215e4_z.jpg8 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1636/...f5e7e010_z.jpg10 by nakahachi, on Flickr took the oilpan out https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1643/...09d80262_z.jpg11 by nakahachi, on Flickr so I can measure how much I need to cut it around 2 1/2 front and 2 3/4 rear oil pick is slanting gowing down https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1677/...8f4c0575_z.jpg12 by nakahachi, on Flickr |
so I couldn't wait till tomorrow so i decided to cut the oil pan tonight
https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1668/...2a17a15c_z.jpg14 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1519/...90a2f02b_z.jpg16 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1665/...c7ec705e_z.jpg18 by nakahachi, on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1621/...685694ea_z.jpg17 by nakahachi, on Flickr cutting and a lot of cutting https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1553/...e2b88a6e_z.jpg19 by nakahachi, on Flickr grinding the pan for welding cause cant weld it with paint and oil on it https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1452/...7e39ca66_z.jpg23 by nakahachi, on Flickr i gave it an extra so will just trim it when welded https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1587/...b8c6fb1f_z.jpg22 by nakahachi, on Flickr i cant make an engine mount not unless i get this oil pan done |
