Hi John,
Are there any updates to this excellent build thread?
I am particularly interested as I am currently looking at the TDX61 to replace my HKS T04R.
I am hoping it will give me a quicker spool and not necessarily more power.
I would be very grateful for your comments on this.
Thanks, Mike

I can not tell you which is better as I do not have enough knowledge about the to4R. Sorry
Did you get it running? Thanks for the links
Why? It is staying where it is for now.

I installed a Nardi D-wheel i got from mr goodfella
I need a horn button
I went to rotorfest. Had a great time. Dont mind the goon standing next to my car.
After rotorfest and only running about 12PSI max. I switched the springs to something heavier. now the car runs approximately 16.5 PSI to 17PSI
As of right now my car currently sitting with no front brakes as I am waiting for the final parts for the SBG BBK which should be here tomorrow or thursday.
I will be tracking my car at the Carlisi meet and purchased new Dunlop Direzza star specs 255 front and 265 rear. Very excited to see how well the car performs with the new rubber as my old tires were from 2005 and 2006. I also got the car aligned but have no pics.

^I do love them, amazing grip, much better than my old tires.
I went to the Carlisi meet yesterday and had a blast. I had a great time seeing everyone and getting out on the track again. Here is a vid from my 3rd run of the day. I wish I had better camera positioning so you could see the track better, next time it will be mounted on the rear strut bar for a better view.

Man......u barley fit in the FD lol. Through the whole video I couldn't help watching how close ur helmet came to the headliner over the bumps. Sounds awesome and looked like a lot of fun though. Is it me or is there some crackling sound at the beginning of the video?

Car sounded great on track Johnny! I'm thinking of keeping the open WG on my next setup
You were movin' out down the main straight..... Scrubs seemed to have a hard time shaking you off at times, definitely improvement over last time

And yes, there is some sort of crackling sound at the beginning.
Dan slowed down so I could catch up but once the camaro passed me Dan did not want to give him a point by so he picked up the pace.
Is is good that my girlfriend went for a ride as she now is not as nervous when I drive a "spiritedly" on the street as she now has a better idea of what the car and myself are capable of. She told me she was not nervous at all. And got tired of holding her head up Scrub says you can use her head as a G-meter.
That was more of a love tap

You need Harry from Harry and the hendersons, to make a nice fitment in the car (can't find the video yet)

Wow what an awesome build, I can only hope mine turns out as well as yours did in detail, how well thought out + everything worked together and the end result. Were you running your SMIC in the video (the one you modified?)
Oh and just one thing.. Dyno numbers or it's all fake :3

Here are some pics of the carlisi meet. I had two problems while on track 1. my AI stopped working 2. oil out of my filler neck. I was able to solve the oil issue by making a temporary catch can out of a water bottle but I need to figure out what happened to the valve on the AI system.
