For sure. There is usually a mini meet following cars & coffee in okc. It's always a good time.

^^ Go for it! The fit, I think, is perfect. I am experiencing some minor rubbing at lock with the tires I picked. Going with a 255 or 265 would probably sort that out.

In other news, I am moving to Japan early next year and the car can't come (unless anyone has info that I don't...). I've made arrangements for a car sitter. Hopefully, this thread will take off when I get back. I'll be accumulating parts and such.

When I bought mine in 04 I flew to Littleton, CO and drove it back to Fayetteville, NC and discovered the clutch was slipping on the way back. Your trip was a lot cooler though lol. And in 2008 I moved to Colorado Springs...if I'd just waited lol.

I spent 3 years in Okinawa, 00-03. Where are you going exactly?

Good work on the car. I'm thinking of doing a CarPC type thing when I get back from the trip I'm on. I like your seats too. Also, I've been trying to come up with something on the fuel surge issue. I bought an HPP in-tank surge tank but the fuel pumps I'm using won't work with it. Your solution looks interesting. I'm gonna try to modify mine but I'm going to look into yours too.

Good luck in Japan!

I'm heading to Tokyo for a few years.

The surge tank is running great. Be careful with the sender if you go this route. I probably damaged the potentiometer during the install. Currently using the trip odometer as a fuel gauge.
