I heard he is building a garage with an attached house. What else could he even do to this car? Is he going to the moon in this thing? Jeez! Stop upgrading it. Just makes me have to upgrade mine more. My wealth management strategist is about to gather my family for an intervention if they catch wind of this.

I think he is waiting for the reveal of Epic wheels .... Rumor has it that he has changed every single nut and bolt from the standard OEM fare to all titanium bits.

You guys are hilarious. Yes I ordered new wheels and I'm patiently waiting to mount some Hancook Ventus RS3's mounted. Till then I have been tinkering with minute details.

JDM coin holder. I was going to replace the security/exhaust buttons with blank buttons but I found these for sale and scooped them up.

I got the stock R1 Strut bar powdercoated a titanium metallic finish. I didn't want to put the red bar in since it would be the first thing your eyes would go to in an all black engine bay. So I settled with a more subtle color but would still contrast with the black powdercoating.

Put a new JP3 decal on.

Also picked up a set of Zeal Function X's. I had the struts rebuilt by Endless USA and had the springs stripped and re-powdercoated. I have them installed awaiting new wheels.Project Clean CYM-photo732.jpg

It's not my thing. I only provide constructive criticism on other people's build threads.

Damn Clean engine bay..... and this was Built Not Bought, all done by himself with zero shop help whatsoever that I'm aware of.

I salute you Jason, you are fast becoming the most famous 'Poco FD Celebrity'

All your brothers had better step up their game

Recently had epic photos taken by ZoomZoom and submitted an article about my FD build and they decided to publish it!

Damn. That fitment and ride height is dialed in correct.

I've always said....... it's hard to beat a clean stock-bodied FD rolling on Fikse wheels

Cleanest FD ever! I'm amazed with all the OEM new parts.. May I ask how much you spent total so far?

I was keeping a tally for most of the build till it got to certain point then I stopped. I can tell you I hit the $35k just around the time I got the car running. This is in parts and shipping alone as I do all the work on the car including fabrication, powder coating, and installation. Of course as the build progressed I would sell alot of the parts I was replacing which was one of the reasons I stopped keeping tally. I would not be able to tell you how much time I have invested into the build as that was never a concern for me.
