Haha...Never ends does it! Stripping her down wasn't hard at all...I'm just glad I don't have to put anything back except for the dash and seats.

Just stumbled upon this. Glad to see you are bouncing back with a vengeance! Really REALLY well thought out cage. One of the best I've seen to date. Look forward to seeing your project progress.

For a street car it's great "kit". Track car, I would just design and have one built if I were to start from scratch.

Thanks Brent! I was blown away by his work, he went above and beyond my expectations. Once the motors in I'll be going back for some more front end bracing and possibly a whole new front frame work to hang the V-mount/oil coolers off of...so definitely some more fab work to look at in a few months.

Update:

Chris Ludwig over at lms-efi has been a world of info on the Haltech/Racepak set-up...I highly recommend him for all your Haltech needs! He's currently working on my Haltech PS2000 engine harness which will plug right into the custom control panel that Brian over at RaceWire Solutions - Your Source for Complete Custom Wiring is custom building for me. Should all come together in a few weeks.. can't wait!

In the meantime, I've been gathering a bunch of parts for cooling as well as my new fuel system...

Haha that's some funny **** man... both your builds have caused myself to lose all sorts of productivity at work as well I assure you!

So far I've been trying to gather and create a solid foundation to this build...now that the weathers a little cooler I'll be finally putting together all the pieces to this beautiful puzzle. Stay tuned...

Got any details on that surge tank? Is it custom made or off the shelf somewhere?

Good luck with the remainder of the build, looking really good so far.

So beautiful, man! Your old car as well. I love the white that it was, and your interior/engine bay is. Keep it up!

Control panel is made by Brian Black from racewiresolutions.com. He can build anything fully customized to your needs. He also provides a customized wiring schematic and detailed pin out diagrams. Super clean work.

Aside from the basics like ignition, start, headlight, brake light, wipers...I had him build all the necessary Haltech circuits into the panel which includes ECU power, injectors, fuel pumps, ignition, and we added two relays for the stock fans. Now all I have to do is plug in the Haltech with one plug (center gray one) with no extra relay box. I also added cicuits for the trans and diff cooling systems as well as future cool suit, front camera, rear camera, or anything else I want to add. Total 12 switches.

Then plug in the switch panel...(still waiting for custom rocker panel from OTRATTW)

Still gathering all the parts needed for a clean install... billet optima battery tray, 2 gauge welding cable, firewall bulkheads, battery master switch (turn for ON, push for OFF)...waiting for heat shrink, terminals, etc.

Yeah real nice, they can also make your wallet explode! Haha. I decided to stick to good old relays and fuses for now. Plus I won't need to be an engineer to set it up lol
