I'll be doing the same as Rich. Perhaps I can buy his ragged out set once he installs his new bushings.... BTW I have a full set of arms with Mazdaspeed bushings prepressed if you are interested. I will be pulling these arms off and installing cleaned/polished arms w/ SuperPros in their place. Just lemme know and we can figure something out when I get back.

The end that connects to the body is offset from left to right because of the metal sleeve that fits where the stock bushing would. I put it on with the short end toward the outside of the car because it made the arm more of a 90deg. angle with the car. So if you take it off and turn it, the wheel may fit fine. As long as everything is tight the wheel shouldn't hit it, it doesn't need alot of clearence, but I would make sure it had more than what the pic showed.
Hope that made sense if not give me a call.

Just as Scheetz pointed out, Its cheap and I don't have oven big enough for the larger pieces. Maybe next time when I have a shop of my own, I might consider doing it again RIGHT! But for now, my concern was to cover up bare metal after removing the rust. Also It saved me quite of bit of time by not stripping all the parts.

Damn Phil! I just ran across this thread. This thing is going to be a unreal!!! If you don't have this thing ready for DGRR 07, then i might have to make the trip down to Bham to see this thing in person this summer! Great job on this one man. See you in April.

Travis,
If I was closer, I might consider your offer
Clint,
I don't think the car will be ready by DGRR.. I was working on the car today and found out my sway bar mounts are bad (the part where it attatches to the frame rail). I think my sways are also bad.. More money I have to spend.. Damn!!
Anyone know of a good aftermarket replacement? I know there was a GB on a machined ones.. but I missed it!
I also had a chance to remove my Recaros from the MB and going to put it in the Blk FD.
Here are some pics.. Not that anyone care... LOL!
In the MB FD
replaced by R1 seats
Out of the car
Rear end almost done.. I lost the 2 clips that hold the brake pads so I could put my rear brakes... and now I'm delayed.. They are $5/ea from the dealer for small metal clips.. INSANE!!

Houdini might have the stock one so I might just buy it from him.

I recieved an email from David (Widefoot) and he has one set left in Billet ($260). I'm buying it and he's sending it off sometime today. He said he has few sets of case ones for $195.

im in the same predicament as you with a FMIC and tow hook.
i got some good feeback from this thread, though:
https://www.rx7club.com/race-car-tech-103/tow-hook-fmic-587878/
i think i am going to go with a kryptonite cable wrapped in plastic through the front; either along side the FMIC or through the driver side duct. i havent had my car in my possession long enough to properly assess the situation yet (in shop since august. im in no rush, thats why its been there this long. plus its in a heated garage, instead of under a car cover in a snow covered massachusetts parking lot.)
