Small update....................

Got some powder coating done !

Only the compressor housing remains now , I will be dropping it off on friday

I am now in the process of getting her ready fro start up , I discovered an sorted leaks in the fuel system (loose hose end fittings , mis-aligned fuel rail , LEAKING FPR diaphragm !!!! and one pin hole leak in a hose!)and engine coolant system (loose hose clamps , one gasket to make and install) . I re-routed one engine oil hose for neatness and better visual apeal , so now I need an additional 3 feet of -10 hose and the local speed shop is fresh out ! . After completing this I need to complete all my electric system checks and ECU terminations then it'll just be a matter of re-programming for the new injectors ..............

More to come !!

Glad its running. Wondering what that weird throttle linkage thing is right by the uim with the bolt thru the thermostat housing area. And also waiting to hear the drivability of the typhoon setup, i want to try that.

Sorted ! the turbo to manifold V band joint wasnt made up properly , I'll put up another clip so that the true exhaust sound can be heard.

It's not weird , it's custom ! seriously though , my FD is a JDM RHD one so I sit on the opposite side to you guys , the ACCUFAB throttle body opens when its pulled to the left so I put together a linkage system to reverse the action when the throttle cable pulls from the right. I also run a mechanical OMP , so I needed to find a way to lift the arm of the pump as the throttle is opened , my set up does it al l! I'll put up some pics when its completed , waiting on some 0.25" round bar stock to finish it up.

Hi all ! sorry for the slow updates , I have been a bit preoccupied with another major project (managing construction of my new home!) , then I found myself having to cope with a couple work related assignments and re-assignments ,then I had to find and fix several issues with the FD; firstly there were a couple of small but irritating fluid leaks ! , then I had to complete all the interior wiring and re-install my dash , thank god that's been completed !then the importer who I paid for a pair of racing seats brought everything else from Japan but my seats ! I discovered that the leak on my exhaust was due to a damaged waste-gate which had to be painstakingly removed and put back, luckily it was easily repairable and didn't cost anything to do , then finally the upgraded 929 brake master cylinder I used decided to leak very heavily without any pressure on it! luckily Ray sorted me out with a replacement in quick time .
Eventually with limited time and lots of patience I got it all fixed and ready to go .......... then an opportunity presented itself and BAM ! (thanks Si! ) another upgrade !!!!! changing the turbo ......AGAIN !!!!

Present from Tial , brand new GARRETT GTX 4508R !!!!!
