TX My first RX7 build, take a look!!!!

Why i got the car. My brother came to town for the week end he brought his 05 evo. Let me barrow it for the week I was hooked! You know brothers always have to one up each other, so i traded my 2006 CBR 600rr for this 1993 rx7 r1.
80,000 miles blown coolant seal first thing on the list rebuild motor and go single.

Looking good already. Are you building the motor? Props to you for diving right into one of these engines like that. Its the best way to learn.

That transmission.... i could eat off it! How the heck is it so clean? Looks good, I just did my first rebuild, it's time consuming but it feels great after the break in period! Those are some sexy rotors too... do you have access to a powdercoating shop?

I pressure washed it then I found a paint that came out better then stock lol look awesome. My rims ate three piece and my powder coater hooked me up. They look way better in person.

Well it looks great, I'm a bit jelly of the guys who get to rebuild these things in their garages lol my rx is my daily driver, and i rebuilt the engine in the kitchen of my 2nd story apartment haha washing side plates, and rotor housings in a small sink is a bit of a challenge. It all went smoothly tho, good luck with the rest of yours!

That's dedication... Lol

I rebuilt mine within the first 4 months of ownership... It was so much fun, I decided to blow a seal and do it all again... Lol

I learned so stinking much, it's the only way someone should own an FD long term...

Makes you realize just how simple the engines can be and where/what everything is, and your not afraid to try and upgrade things yourself, instead of paying a shop to do everything...

I had a friend do that, and since he never got to know the car, he sold it for a huge loss and never really got into the pure bliss of FD ownership... Cause he was afraid to drive it, thinking it woukd blow every time he hit the gas pedal...

What a crappy way to 'own' a car.... Lol

How long do you think your whole project is and will take you to get where you want to get to?

looking good man! love the paint on the rims! I had that same Idea at one point but with a black lip and red rim!

keep it up and can't wait to see the finished project.

Have you decided on a turbo yet? what are you looking to get into there.
