I'm having a special set of wheels cut at ISS Forged, they'll be done this weekend, i'll post up pics by next week of that

and for the tires, I wanted BFGoodrich KDW2...but they were backordered throughout the entire US, and I'm contracted with the sponsors to show it at Hot Import Nights: Miami in the ISS Forged/Vision Autos booth. So i didnt really have a choice. Either way i'd like to have a separate set of wheels for the track anyway so i guess this gives me incentive to have another set made by ISS lol

Threw the car on the trailer to ISS Forged today to have them build my exhaust system.

It will be a 4" system from the downpipes back.

Also i'm using a 4" in/out Vibrant straight through resonator in the mid-pipe, and a 4" in/out Vibrant straight through muffler in the rear section.

Where did you get the shielding material for the turbos? I'd like to make one myself.

this is the stuff i bought:
Thermo Tec 15003 Thermo-Tec Turbo Wrap Kit

absolutely awesome stuff...took me about 30 min. per turbo, and you get an awesome custom fit.

and i used about a quarter of the material that the kit came with to do BOTH turbos!!

great kit

Well the car was at ISS Forged all day today. They're master fabricator, the same one that modified the manifold for me build my exhaust.

its a thing of beauty really...

Also they started lathe turning my wheels and i got to see my centers getting they're profile made...and these things are going to look incredible!!! definitely nothing like it out there!!

got a shot of tucking the girls in for the night as well, my car and the owner of ISS's FD that he bought after driving mine about a year and half ago hahaha

finally! WHEELS WHEELS WHEELS!!!

well the front ones for now at least...the front wheels got cut, and i took them over to the body shop to make sure the fit was correct before they went in for finishing and powder coating

and i got say the fitment gurus at ISS Forged are freaking ON-POINT!!!! first shot out of the hole and the wheels fit exactly how i want them too!!!

I'm proud to say theses are the very first ones, and i'm lucky enough to say that i'm the only person in the world that has them!!! pretty freaking cool!!!

It sick to know i designed my own wheel and it looks exactly how i wanted them too!!!
i'm sorry if i sound a little braggy or cocky here guys, i'm just so excited about how they turned out!

I'll have pics of them on the car, tires mounted and all by tomorrow night!!

Do you have any pics of the back of the wheel center?

Also, why is the ISS logo not in the middle of the center cap?

I'm going to post pics of the back of the wheel after they cut the lightning pockets in...i asked them if they could do it after the show because i wouldnt have had everything together in time

i'll post a pic of another wheel laying around the shop that has them cut already

The ISS logo is offset, the owner of the company loves it that way, but there will be a Blonix Wheels cap going on my wheels as its part of their Blonix "Resurrection" series.
Basically bringing back old discontinued wheel designs that really never should have been discontinued lol

I really like the wheels VJ and was wondering if you were gonna have them coated. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Also I think we'd all be just as excited if we had one off wheels that we actually designed on our cars.

Yessir, they are being powdercoated right now actually

ISS is doing a Dark Tinted Hand-brushed aluminum finish on the center disk
and a Light Tinted Hand-Brushed aluminum finish on the out lips

the inner barrels are matte black, and the bolts and nuts are all their standard stainless steel bolts

there will be a very slight contrast between the center disk and the lips, should looks really nice

i'll post up more pics later today
