With having all of the parts I need lined up, I decided to shop around for wheels. I decided to go with some XXR 962's in a staggered 18 x 9.5 - 18 x 8.5, +35 offset all around. Looking at some KDW's and might go with 285/30R18 for the rear. The 30mm sidewall is the only thing that is up in the air with my tire choice.

Finally finished up with my 99 Spec tail light conversions. Was definitely easier than I thought it would be. Basically followed the guide that rotary-addicts put together and bam! Cut out some circles with contact paper, made some measurements, used the oven a bit, painted, and put back together. Oh and if you can tell I have been making some kind of progress with the wiring ...

Build is looking great, I can wait to start working on my fd soon. Just to give you a heads up on that color you want to paint your car. Here is a picture of my silvia that I painted with the exact same color that you want. Plus I added some blue pearl.
Hope it helps you see how it will look once your do yours.

Did the pearl make it turn out lighter? I know Mazda has two new blue paint codes out and yours looks like the lighter tone one. The 41B Sky Blue Mica is still light, but much darker than yours. It could also be the pictures, either way it still looks nice!

Rotary-Addicts have an awesome write up for sure!
Moving right along.. Just finished the wiper circuit, pop-up circuit, turn signal/brake/running light/head light circuit, and hazard circuit. Just have the A/C and heat circuit to do and that will just about finish the body wiring. After that I can start making my custom harness with the accessories I need.

Here's an update from this past week and weekend.. Finished wiring the A/C-Heating system, window switches, mirror switches, map lights with door switches, and rear hatch light. Next will be the rear defroster and fuel pump system, I believe that will be it until I go back out to the car realize I forgot something lol.
I also ordered wheels finally! Got some Raze R74's in 18x8.5 +35 and 18x9.5 +35... I got them in Gold because it was a deal I just could not pass up! I plan on painting the middle a darker gun metal though.

Thanks man, yeah I think I'll keep them that color for now.
Well aside from a bunch of parts coming in, I decided to get back out in the garage this weekend. Organized and cleaned up the garage again, test fit my wheels, and cleaned the transmission up a bit. Transmission still needs a good amount of work, but I put a good dent in cleaning it so far.
