Ive been lurkig a while on these forums and finally got the chance to start working on my rx7.

It wont be an all out kinda build, right now trying to restore it to its previous greatness since I got it with a blown motor, lots of nice parts however it was just sitting there for a few months while the new motor arrived from japan.

Hoping to have you guys input on the car and the continuation of the build

The car when I got it! Everyhing put together without a motor which had been taken apart to see what was wrong.

The motor when purchased in Japan, as stated it appears they had not abused this FD as much in the cluster it says 32 thousand kilometers and as per my mechanic who is renowned in the island the motor may have even less miles (came out of a series 4)




Puechased a PowerFC S6 that its the one that will work with my motor (also have the commander even tho it is not pictured

One of the few suspension setups I have also gotten is this set of Buddyclub Fullcoilovers


Due to me being about 290 pounds 6 feet 1 inch and built like a wall in order for me to fit comfortably I needed to get the steering wheel off my knees and a but closer to me so I purchased the ASR 4 inch Hub Extender I Could have gone with a smaller one but didnt want to run the risk also added an NRG quick release this makes it easier for me getting in and out of the car (there are a few who know what Im talking about)

We have purchased these original items from Leg Motor Sport themselves and saw that the quality and finish wasn’t as good as things we could make ourselves so we are making molds and custom weave parts for our cars.

We make parts out of our own original parts to facilitate de acquisition for others. You are more than welcome to purchase directly from the original manufacturer using their resellers.

The same day Sept 27 they started taking everything apart! The car itself didnt have damage or needed to be fixed it was for aesthetics










Some work has been done on the car it is almost done.

 

by Sept 29th the wholes from the previous wings had to be filled in and shave off since we are going to run a flush honeycomb wing the one that goes over the rear tail lights.







later on that day a bit of filler and whatever else painters use to make the car smooth as a baby bottom, under the filled whole in the rear gate some anti corrosion was applied plus a few other things to help it last longer.











during this time the front bumper was taken to make the OEM 99 Spec Mold out of it. also known as v1 99 spec bumper

 

The car now getting ready to be wet sanded and prepped in order for it to be primered, all of this is done by hand, by people who have 75% of their lives prepping and doing autobody work.

we are still working on getting everything on the car how its supposed to, it should be out within a week or so.

yeap that is true, having everything fitted so it can be left a few days so it can be sanded and buffed down again.

After putting the ce28s on the car was taken home, my honeycomb parts were not used to them being acquired by another project. Glad to have a grain of sand on that build


Put on the autoexe style lip (which I sell in FRP and CF)



And at long last put on the carshopglow rear v1 with chasing lighst and v2 combination lights up front



Right now in the process of making the parts again for my FD and put them on also trying to either dremel the heck out of the underside of the hood in order to have flush fitment or getting a new intake probably the HKS RS intkae

Been a while since my last update! Lets see what has happened.
Made some half plates and full plates out of cintra to sell, as of now there are a few in ny and florida


Ordered the MonkeyMagic aka Uras front spoiler


Got an apr gt wing


Titocoloso got me a glowup meet goodie bag


Resprayed some parts and added our legsport style deflectors in the rear in honeycomb cf


Went out got some holiday pics, while the weather was good



Got me a battlecraft 40mm shifter ****


And some pics while raining last nite
