Ive been lurkig a while on these forums and finally got the chance to start working on my rx7.
It wont be an all out kinda build, right now trying to restore it to its previous greatness since I got it with a blown motor, lots of nice parts however it was just sitting there for a few months while the new motor arrived from japan. Hoping to have you guys input on the car and the continuation of the build The car when I got it! Everyhing put together without a motor which had been taken apart to see what was wrong. We make parts out of our own original parts to facilitate de acquisition for others. You are more than welcome to purchase directly from the original manufacturer using their resellers. For anyone who might be interested we offer as of right now for the FD3S -Optional JDM Sides -Feed Style Sides -AutoExe Front Lip (FRP and CF (any weave) -99 Spec Front Bumper V1 OEM specific V2 OEM specific with a larger opening for front mount intercooler applications -Exhaust Shield V1 for use with a diffuser V2 for use without a diffuser it is bigger and covers more area than v1 -RE amemiya style street diffuser (FRP or CF) Any and every input is highly welcomed. |
The same day Sept 27 they started taking everything apart! The car itself didnt have damage or needed to be fixed it was for aesthetics

by Sept 29th the wholes from the previous wings had to be filled in and shave off since we are going to run a flush honeycomb wing the one that goes over the rear tail lights.

The car now getting ready to be wet sanded and prepped in order for it to be primered, all of this is done by hand, by people who have 75% of their lives prepping and doing autobody work.

After putting the ce28s on the car was taken home, my honeycomb parts were not used to them being acquired by another project. Glad to have a grain of sand on that build

Looks very nice. If the front bumper is not on permanently yet, I'd suggest putting some reinforced epoxy or some form of fiberglassing under it to preserve the shape of the top side over time. (Most front bumpers eventually get wavvy from the sun or whatever.)
