going to go through car.drain and flush coolant, drain and fill tranny.new plugs. Fuel filter. All fuel lines undethood.and 450 sock filter.
What plugs should I get? 9s all around? Anything else i should do.did oil already and pads
cars not road ready.having problems tuning it.its breaking up when hitting boost.tuner wants me to fix my problems first.i already tracked down 3 vacuum leaks by smoking intake.fixed them .re smoked no leaks.so now its ether ignition, timing,or fuel pressure dropping,bad plugs,crank angle sensor.it does start right up and drive. Sucks I'd love to go...if you have any ideas please help. We even turned all the failsafe off in ecu to see if it would rev past 4500 without popping at 8lbs of boost but still does it.once I get into boost.it pops. [/QUOTE]

Changed out my burnt out 450 walbro pump today.it still ran and worked.just would break up at hard throttle.
I also used the new irp 450 fuel pump bracket kit. Was super easy to install. While I was at it.i changed fuel filter and fuel lines that go from tank to metal fuel lines.and relocated fuel filter to a better spot. I included some pics.also wired pump right to battery with relay kit👍 Walbro 450 IRP fuel pump bracket Fuel filter relocation to behind rear end. Close up irp Old burnt up fuel pump,450 Relay wiring harness wiring fuel pump right to battery.
hope this intro isn't turning into a build thread. i would advise starting one in the 3rd gen section. mighty fine job there at cleaning everything up under the hood.
