Yea man, 13b-re's are pretty sweet motors.

I met this one dude in NJ with a white FD with a 13b-re motor in it, bone stock 13b-re block with the 13b-re lim, uim and a rew throttle body. Hes making 497 hp @ 15psi boost, i forgot what size/model turbo he said it was. Thought that was pretty impressive.

Talking

Pieced together some replica re-a lights.
Will figure out how to use some nice legit hid projectors in it eventually.
NO MORE CRAPPY EBAY LIGHTS!

As you can see I'm going to have to sand the crap outta these and respray them.
The lenses have a slight curve to them and they seem to fit these buckets perfectly. This is to my surprise since I bought all these parts used from completely different people who didn't know what brand replica lights they are from.

Here are some crappy lights and brackets that I plan on replacing with legit projectors with proper mounts.
Oh and these halogen lights seem to be the same ones found on the crappy ebay lights I'm replacing lol, they have the "halo" ring and all.
I think I'm going to try to get two IPF lights to replace these as well when I get the projectors.

well 9 years later... still in pieces. lol
saved up some money.
in search of an rx7 mechanic that can pull the 13b-re motor, rebuild and port it and reassemble the car.
pm me if you guys got any recommendations.
i plan on getting my 18in rims powder coated purple and get some decent used tires so i can get the fd on a trailer.

Since you are in New Jersey I would get with IR Performance, they are a top notch shop and will treat you right.
