Tiny, tiny update. Can you find it?

Since I don't drive my car often at all, I tend to unplug the battery to keep the PC680 from draining. Then I figured it'd probably be a lot easier if I just installed one of the Revotune / FEED / typical **** style disconnects. I felt more comfortable putting this on the negative terminal side. And it was a good time to get rid of this tired looking connector.

It wasn't as easy as just unscrewing the old connector and installing the disconnect. I had to make another run to the store to get a new copper battery lug to crimp back into the line, so it was an extra trip (or two..or three) to the store for that, a small strip of adhesive shrink wrap, and the proper sized bolt to pass through the connector. Now I can be, just a little bit lazier

I bought a few of these things when I imported larger parts from Japan. But since then, I realized Japan's price is just marked up because they imported it over from the US!
Moroso makes one, model #74104.

What terminal did you use on the positive side? I've been looking for a better solution for my PC 680.

I really like the choices of parts that you've put into your build. I've noticed that you don't have any aux. injection yet. There is a group buy on the Aquamist products including the summer that is going on right now. https://www.rx7club.com/auxiliary-injection-173/aquamist-summer-935271/
I have a build thread in the n.w. section, feel free to check it out and let me know what you think.

Woops. Yeah, Moroso 74103. As far as the positive terminal goes, I just picked up something generic at the local Kragens.

Matt, you're right - the last thing really is to work on the motor. I saved that for last because I could never decide what direction to go hahaha. I'll take a look at the link

Those R-Magic lights are sick. BTW, do the top of the recaros rub on the side closest to the door?

what seat/brackets do you have? I have a Recaro SPA on Bride RO bracket and it rubs at the top. I have no rubbing on the sides though which is good. I just need to modify the brackets a little and it should work fine I think.

Not much happening this week haha.

Finally stopped getting lazy and made my appointment for corner balancing and alignment next Saturday the 19th. Figured I find out my max "streetable" height I can work with on the car, with my quadruple compound angled driveway haha..and I'll have the guys dial it in for that.

Its pretty darn conservative to avoid massive scrap-age, and I wish it could be lower but...c'est la vie. Can't have everything =/

I also started measuring out for my order on a Spearco IC. Scrapped the Knightsports VMIC idea, and am going with a custom setup to my dimensions. That'll be a fun summer project ^_^

Tape & rough measurements

What can I squeeze in between the HKS intakes and the PC680 battery? Plenty, with lots of room for ducting!

Finally remembered to snap a "Better" picture of my new windshield cowl and wiper arms.

So after adjust the front corners....
I backed it out at an angle for the rear clearance test. I removed the CF diffuser for the time being.

Ehh...if the side canards hang that low, how low will the rest of the diffuser be? Think I can make it? :X Or think I should switch to the street diffuser?

....was going to hold up the diffuser next to the car, but I was starting to die from the exhaust fumes. Anywho..without the diffuser at least, I've got plenty of space to work with.

How about the front?

I can't install the under panel back yet. Still trying to find out when it rubs against the brake ducting on the driverside, but can't quite tell exactly where still.

Wheels clear fender!

Bumper clears!

Just kidding, it wasn't quite over the worse part yet in that picture, so there was slight scraping

Guess it'll sit at about this height until I move out and find a new garage for it to stay in.

Looking good.

Perhaps you should build a permanent plywood ramp between the street and your driveway. We did this for our race cars in San Francisco off of a steep hill on a steep driveway . . .

Carol, great to see the car out and moving under it's own power...... how many miles on that new paintjob anyway?

P.S. If you have any more rare JDM parts you'd like to sell me, please shoot a PM over

You might just have to enter the driveway from more of an angle. I'm already used to pulling up parallel to any driveway and entering with as much lock as possible.

Thanks for sharing your work!

It'd work for most cases, but because my driveway has a gutter trail that runs diagonal, a sloped street that runs in a different angle, plus a sidewalk angle... too much angling of the car makes it worse. There's a very tiny sweet spot that I'm pretty sure I've gotten figured out in the last 12 years
