I just randomly found your build and I agree with silverTRD above.

I'm extremely interested to see how the haltech elite and all the fancy options turn out once you get running!

Hahaha I guess you could say hes "mythical". OG is another term that comes to mind. If you didnt know, Koji was the main tuner at XS-Engineering for many years. I realize XS may be before many of the current FD crowd's time...in short, XS was one of the first high end tuning shops for imports. IMO XS paved the way for shops like SP Engineering, AMS, Cobb, etc. XS was somewhat of a rotary specialty house back in the day as Id say 50% of their clientele was rotary owners. So yes, Koji was bred on rotary. XS was the only shop that we (A'PEXi) trusted to work on/tune our personal cars. After XS went under (2006?) he moved to a shop called Drift Speed, and now he has been at Auto Talent for quite a while. Koji tuned my S13 (SR20) which I took to probably 40 track days without a single problem. It got to the point where I was waiting for the motor to go. Each track day Id think "alright...this has gotta be the one", and it just never skipped a beat. Im not sure how many Elites hes worked with so before we start the process Ill have to sit down with him and talk about the setup/features.

Heres a pic of the mythical creature in his natural habitat.

Little known Koji fact: He is a champion arm wrestler, and is pretty solid at Street Fighter II Super Turbo. =P

That's awesome, I am familiar with XS from reading Eric Hsu's old blog Beyond the Dyno. Some really great stuff in there, definitely OG. Also extremely opinionated, but I guess that happens when you know your ****!

Got the catch can mounted.
No room on the drivers side of the engine bay and we didnt want oil anywhere near the turbo/manifold...so we found room under the drivers side headlight.

Stumbled upon this thread while searching for track builds. I´ve gone myself through a few ground-up builds, but on much simpler cars; congratulations for the dedication! You have also assembled top notch "support team" (full race, LMS-EFI, etc) this is critical for the success of the project. Mind sharing the engine builder and specs? Best of luck and keep us posted.

I still have it brother.

It's currently back at A'PEXi lol, where everything started. Life has changed and time is the most limited resource now. But still pressing on and finishing up a few major fabrication jobs before we can start thinking about getting on the dyno.

Hoping to see it done and on track. Best of luck!
