Got my 13b rew from Mazda

Picked it up from dealer today. Question is should I be concerned that the water jackets were full of water, and rotor housings had a good amount in them also?
Is this something normal until a few heat cycles are done? I blew out the chambers
real good with air, and see no water damage. Entire Engine looks completely new cannot see anything rebuilt.Got my 13b rew from Mazda-13b-rew.jpg

Definitely water. I am hoping its some kind of shipping contamination.( it came in a sealed plastic container same as a tranni comes from dealer).

When get back to work on Monday think Ill plug off all the water ports, and do a leak down test the same as if it were installed.

Cant complain on the price $23XX

Got my 13b rew from Mazda Up-Date

Well the suspense was killing me so I went in Sunday, and did the pressure test.
This morning it had lost 5psi- no water in intake ports or rotor housings. Did a
bore inspection all clean like new. Looks like they did a good job of pickling-
spraying the internals with what looks like graphite. Why they filled the coolant
system with straight water is still a mystery? Got my 13b rew from Mazda-temp-4.jpg

They run straight water on the remans from the factory. Common to find some brown water in the coolant passages. Not common to see it in the rotor housings. But, if your pressure test did not put more water in there, it sounds like you're OK.
