The seat upholstery looks amazing. Did they have to custom make those for you or did they already have a template?

I believe he already had a template. If you'd like to get a set done, give Austin a shout

R-Magic Type 1, I believe it's one of two in the country. Super rare, I didn't even know they existed until a few weeks ago

The Ohlins are simply amazing Mike. Totally changed the character of the car. The track will be the true test however

I've been in talks with Sean at A-Spec Tuning out in Chi-town for some time now about the 'next' primo FD single turbo setup (ie 500R take II), and I believe we've arrived at a pretty....interesting.....solution. I'm excited to be a part of this collaboration.

More details to follow

We use the stock seat cover as a template and then make adjustments accordingly. There are still some small fix ups to be done on the seats. I only had a time frame of about 4 days from when we received the material to when Rich needed to pick them up for DGRR. Overall they turned out well tho.

Rich's idea for the red behind the perforation turned out really well.

Wink

So this build thread hasn't been exactly setting the world on fire lately.....

That's all going to change soon. Wheels have already started moving behind the scenes

Let me just say this: I'm planning to take this car to higher levels than my old VR R1.

A sneak shot of one of the changes I'm making:

Rich, just read through the whole thread, really loving the progress on your car so far!
Mind sharing the specs on the Fikse wheels? both front and rear with offset and tire size.

Loking forward to seeing where this project will be headed!

Whats the tease? There was just drivetrain and suspension work done, really.

BTW, Austin, the seats look great. I have seen them in person and they look amazing. The work is top notch. If I wanted to get my seats recovered I definitely know who to go to.

+1 on that! I have been tossing around RZ's for years, but man those stock re-covers look very sweet!

Keep up the good work Rich. After our conversation last week, I am really getting some mixed signals...

To 20B or not to 20B.... I guess we will await updates.
