How tedious was the process for removing your dash, all the wiring and carpet ? And then redoing it all over ?
Your built inspired me to do the same but im afraid i won't be able to stomach it lol

my previous original owner installed a in car telephone in the 90s and than a double din kenwood NAV with all the jazz , satellite receiver, gps module and all the crap that gose with it. I want to yank all that out and install a simple single deck with modern speakers. Help a brotha out and give me some courage

Some shots from this past weekend, had an old FD buddy in town and we put some hard miles on the FD. Car pulls nice and hard to 8200 rpm and these Denso Iridium spark plugs really don't miss a beat. Love running race plugs on the street that stand up to long-term use

Good stuff, few comments
  • Surprised you haven' replaced the floor mat being that you have a little scuff mark :-)
  • Never knew it said Rx-7 on the OEM gas pedal
  • How long have you had that front RX7 plate, mine looked like crap after 2 year. Took a beating from rock debris
  • Is that you map sensor above the brake booster
  • haven't seen too many FDs with the stock stickers above the hood, pretty cool
  • and lastly what are the button on the center console, don't think i have ever seen that

I love the black and red inside the car, as well as the engine bay. Such a good color combo, and great contrast.
I am still amazed everytime I see the exterior of your car. That black really shines like glass! Excellent ride homie!
Overall very solid looking. Classy and clean!

It's awesome to see companies continue to innovate and make legit new parts for our 25 year old FDs...... quick install, with the nylon spacers there's zero vibration, and fitment is on point. Bravo Landon Balk and LRB

OK, I actually like that piece. Some of the other stuff I don't get. But, if you don't keep a spare and don't feel like the FEED thing, that is cool.

Also, you melted the rear bumper trim. Better get on that...
