I think your weight for the engine might be off, dressed with turbos and manifold, I've come up with something around 160kg when going through this process before. I'd expect the 3.7 litre V6 in recent Mazdas/Fords to weigh less for something approaching equivalent capacity!
could be, off the top i thought Mazda claimed 450ish/205kg's for a fully dressed REW

Here is the list of published engine weights I have. No idea on Trans. weight.

published engine weights from 279 page book "RX-7, the New Mazda RX-7 and Mazda Rotary Engine Sports Cars" By Jack Yamaguchi 1985

1965 production Cosmo L10A (alum. sidehousings)--- 225 lbs (pg 261)

1968 production Cosmo 10A (alum. sidehousings)--- 224 lbs (pg 262)

1968 production R100 10A (cast iron side housings)--- 268 lbs (pg 262)

1971 production JDM RX-3 10A--- 282 lbs (pg 264)

1967 production R130 13A--- 301 lbs (pg 264)

1977 production USA 12A --- 321 lbs (pg 244)

1977 12A sports kit (over the counter P-Port)--- 242 lbs (pg 244)

1977 12A MFR (factory P-port)--- 224 lbs (pg 244)

1977 production 13B--- 330 lbs (pg 244)

1977 13B MFR (factory p-port)--- 233 lbs (pg 244)

1978 production RX-7 12A--- 348 lbs (pg 267)

1983 production RX7 12AT (turbo)--- 356 lbs (pg 270)

1986 production RX-7 13B DEI--- 337 lbs (pg 47)

1987 production RX-7 13BT--- 377 lbs (pg 52)
----------------
1991-2002 production RX-7 13B-REW-- 450lbs (SCC via Mazda, see below)

2004-2012 production RX-8 13B-MSP-- 332lbs (SCC via Mazda, see below)
-----------------

Published engine weights

Sport Compact Car Feb 2002

"According to mazda, the Renisis weighs 332lbs, which is significantly less than the RX-7 engine, which weighs 450 lbs."

---------------

All weight are complete engines with all accessories (where applicable) air conditioning, power steering, exhaust mani, etc. No transmission!

The 2nd gen 13B DEI and 13BT weights are stated as wet weights including engine oil and engine coolant, excluding oil cooler and radiator.

The race engine weights are listed as dry weights- as are most likely all the '60' s and very early '70s weights as that was before weights and HP figures were cracked down on and standardized.

FD box is 44.5kg.

Here's what I came up with a while back from a disassembled engine

Stat gears 2.9 kg
EC 7
Rotating assembly minus rotors 5.2
Through bolts/dowels/keys/oil strainer/assort fasteners 4.1
Engine mounts (steel lhs) 3.5 - minus the rubber/urethane of your choice
Oil pump and drive 1.1
LIM 3.1
UIM/TB 5.3
Sump 2.7
Alt 6.1
P/S Pump plus bracket 4.2
Plates 37.2
Housings 12
Front cover 2.5
Rotors 8.6
Water pump 4.1
Coils 1.6
Turbo manifold 5.4
MOP 1.1
Turbos 14
Y pipe, etc 1

There's this to add as far as I can see, (+ fluids?) - air pump, rats nest, engine harness, oil lines, fuel rails, miscellaneous solenoids/emission, AC and flywheel/clutch, which would require more or less 70kg to make the total....I could see 30 maybe 40 at the outside there.
