Gauge Install Through Firewall Help
Gauge Install Through Firewall Help
I have four electronic gauges to install (Boost, Wideband, Oil and Water Temp) and looking for the easiest spot to run through the firewall for all four. I will be installing a 4 gauge pod on the top dash where the speaker is. Can someone please help me out today. I like to get this done this weekend. Thanks...
wrong section bud.
theres tons of places.
where the engine harness goes through the firewall, poke a hole through its grommet
run it out the drives side fender where the abs wires run out of the fender then snake it back in (must remove fender)
run it through the dr side fender- theres the same opening below the brake booster then snake it back in with the main chassis harness (need to remove fender too)
through the trans tunnel- up shift boot (not recomended)

I'm actually doing the same thing right now, there's a pass through right behind the foot rest behind the driver side fender, that would be my #1 choice, but my battery is relocated to the rear bin so the 0ga wire is running through that hole, so I'm running my gauge wires through the opening by the passenger fender.

Remove the fender and liner and you'll see this rubber grommet, I hollow it out so I can run all the wires through it.
