Did any of these have the Liberty Gear's main shaft or all completely stock boxes?
They were stock transmissions.
Not many people are in the power category I regularly beat on, and the few that are, have had issues even with a full Liberty Gears transmission build.
I just do not have confidence the factory transmission case is capable of handling big power, regardless of the modifications.

I really like the setup you went with, especially the quicktime sfi bell housing. Did you take any notes on exactly what needed to be modified and fabricated for it to go in? How did you spec out the right size clutch/flywheel setup to bolt to the rotary?
I don't have any of the notes anymore unfortunately. I gave my notes to Quicktime over the phone and I was told they would be modifying the bellhousings significantly so my notes may not apply anymore.
Starter depth was wrong; it could be moved super easy though with a little cutting/welding. Not as much to go wrong here.
Trans depth was wrong; this was where most of the work was involved in correcting it. The alignment was very easy to get it wrong and I've been told by a few people they had the alignment off right out of the box (not the case on mine, but the depth was not close).
Transmission has to be cut a lot. It's sketchy cutting into a brand new transmission.
Trans tunnel has to be massaged quite a bit too. (This was kind of expected)
As far as the flywheel and clutch, just about anyone can make them for the motor/trans setup. Quicktime suggests you go with a mini clutch (7.5-8.5") because there isn't much depth available in the bellhousing, which they are correct about. The starter being moved takes up more of the available area for a normal size clutch. If you go with the automatic starter, you have a lot more room for a clutch and can go with just about anything (probably).

I thought about going to a T56 for sometime but the modifications/fab work required pushed me away. It is without doubt the best street/performance trans package for our cars. Glad you made it work
I ended up with a liberty trans, 3rd/4th full face plated.
It's been awhile since I've updated but really it's been mostly small modifications and fixing all of the tiny things the car has that bothers me; Things like squeaks and inconsistencies. I also rewired some sensors to try to get traction control wired into the ECU; so far, it's logging front and rear wheel speeds now.
Let's start with the fenders needing some clearancing to prevent scrubbing on very hard corners.
The brake pads that came with the ST kit were terrible. I went ahead and swapped them for a more aggressive pad but they're wearing in well.
The HVAC panel was the last of the interior plastics that needed to be replaced. Everything else is new (besides door plastics, which are NLA). I went ahead and replaced the fan switch as well, since it can have different resistance values as they age, which affects the A/C circuit.
Followed by finally installing the Tri-point swaybar I picked up a long time ago. It feels incredible!
I took it to a nearby Autocross event. I had a great time but I blew the noise ordinance by a significant amount; There was a 85db limit, but I was recorded at ~105db @ 50ft. I even left it set at 35psi, none of which I could use with how tight of a course it was.
So I finally made a trip to the dyno a few weeks back. I had some issues with fuel pressure (dirty E85 clogged the pre-filters) but I ended up making a good pull at lower boost and the car made 760rwhp at 30psi!
I went for a 40psi run and saw about 20% more power through the powerband before I had to shut it down due to fuel pressure drop. I've already swapped the filters and plan to go back for a 40psi dyno next month.
