Tim, the SSM FD is gone brother. I was super tempted to swap interiors before posting the car for sale, but my tan interior is in really good condition. I still some what regret not making a BB FD with Red Interior.[/QUOTE]

Oh man nice, glad you sold it man.

Loving the update with this current one. Keep it going.

You mention that you are mostly stock. I see you have an intake, and IC, are you running an aftermarket DP as well (I assume so, just didn't see it in the thread)? Reason I ask is have you smog'd it yet and if so how painful was it? I'm building to a similar configuration and just want to be prepared.

The car was smogged by the previous owner, but he did say it was a regular smog. The car has intake, dp, exhaust, intercooler, and ignition system.

I'm not too confident it'll pass smog as is to be honest, but I'll deal with that when the time comes. I hear our cars have difficulties with CA smog even in stock form. It's something we all have to deal with living in the smog **** state.

I've been given a hard time for using leftover blue silicone hose on my old blazer and that was before it was hooked up to the machine. I can only guess he'll have a heart attack when he looks under the hood of the rx. Thanks for the feed back.

Without the air pump, you're pretty boned. I'm sure you could find an easy going tech

Thanks Gene! Great minds think alike

So the other day, the FD wouldn't start. Battery is new and I didn't leave my manual fan switch on, so I was stuck. After some reading, I narrowed it down to the oem security relay. I jumped the 2 big wires and 'vroom braaap braaap braaap' started right up. Ended up ordering a new oem H302 relay and everything is now back to normal.

Here's a pic for reference.

Here's a thread about it. I don't have the 'clicking' problem. It just didn't start up out of nowhere. All is good now though.

Oh nice, so this is where Kento's car went--I was talking to him about getting his but then I got a different one. You wasted NO time on mods, I see!

Yeah, it's a good example to build on. Some parts were taken from my SSM FD, so those were easy decisions. Most of the other stuff done is really just maintenance.

Quick update:

Loaded up on some OEM filters since our cars use them so frequently.

Removed the old school CATZ HID system and leaving the lights that 90s yellow for now. Loving the Raybrig fogs to match.

Took a few laps at SOW on my street setup with Sumitomo HTRZ ) It was more like drifting. On a side note, super hot today so still seeing water temp move up...couldn't get a real session together.

Thank you fellas! I ended up with Chemical Guys cleaning agent and leather protectant. I like the feel of the new interior vs the Tan.

Looking good!

FYI the JDM floor mats look awesome but they don't fit right. I would dig having a set if they fit right.
