I meant 'on that front' as an idiom, like 'speaking of exhausts' -- Wording was probably confusing considering I was talking about the rear bumper. (Might be an American saying?) ..In regards to what I was mentioning- the exhaust being created will have tips which are the same shape as (and will replace) the oem rear bumper reflectors/reverse lights.

Will they stick out sum to prevent the bumper from melting/catching fire?

..and yet they are the main inspiration which is then watered down to meet a certain price point, and regulations.
Haha -Yes! For sure; did think of that possibility... Tips will stick out just a lil bit, though if I stick with rotor-power I don't plan to do much besides bolt ons given it's a 39k original miles R1. It will quite possibly have a 1000+ Whp mid-ship full-Electric conversion done over the course of the next 4 years, finished by 2020 if all goes accordingly.

Hey what's up guys, it's been a while since I've been on here...
Finally finished the kit design! The diffuser you see in the last 2 pics is a completely new wood dummy. I feel this one is MUCH better than the first one, so it's actually a good thing the other one caught water moisture and ended up destroyed!
The new one is about 2in wider each side and the side areas now match with the side steps, making the kit flow even better.
I also changed my plans concerning my fuel system. I decided to run a surge tank in addition to the hanger I already had. The new plan is to run a single in-tank bosch 044
that will feed the surge tank. Then in the tank 2 walbros 460lph pumps will feed my injectors.
on a side note: I kinda went overboard on this... I just cannot resist buying cool looking billet parts
Also, a lot of people are showing interest in the kit on instagram and facebook, so I will soon make a group buy thread or something to get this going!

Of course you're going to replicate it after I've already bought like 3 widebody kits hahaha. Any idea on pricing of it? I might be interested depending on funds at the time
Car is looking great as always btw

What's going on guys!? Sorry if I don't post all that often... make y'all wait like crazy hahah. Just know that I appreciate your feedback guys and no worries I'm still working on it! Here are a couple pics from last week, maybe some of you have already seen them on my fb or ig... Kit design is finally DONE!!! I can almost say the same about the molds as well and car is about to get primed all one color.
Next week back to mechanic because ayy it's time to make this bad bitch run once and for all!
Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy the pics and I promised to be back next week with more content for you guys! Meanwhile, I wish all of you a good weekend!
Oh btw the exhaust is just a quick mock-up, my plan for it is to make the 2 upper pipes stick a little bit more, go with a slanted cut to make them follow the diffuser's angle and the finished product will most likely be made out of titanium, although I'm also considering black chrome but yeah that would be stupid right?!
Also here's a quick super lame video:

The rear quarters might be, IMHO, the best widebody incarnation I've ever seen on an FD. Finally a widebody that doesn't take away from the original factory 'flow'
But, I've been trying to figure out why I like it so much....And it finally hit me. The one common aspect of virtually all widebody rears that always seems to let them down is the fuel door. Now, I've been mostly following this build on Instagram, so forgive me if this has been explained, but what are your plans for that?

Hey guys, here's another update.
Kept the oem hanger to keep things simple, Which also means I have a brand new black anodized CJ motorsports hanger to get rid of, so hit me up if you are looking to buy one and I'll do you a good price!
The bosch 044 should have no problem feeding the surge tank.
Surge tank hanger with 2 walbro 460lph pumps, should be PLENTY of fuel for my setup.
Here's the beautiful AI SPR1000 surge tank installed in place. Will put the carpet back under later down the road.
Cut the floor pan all the way from the filter to the front of the car and made a tunnel to tuck the fuel and brake lines as high as possible. Eliminating some future possible issues I could encounter with a car as low as mine.
Fuel filler neck relocation, bye bye ugly gas door Thanks to my friend Zach for telling me about this super dope mod!
Tank on the left is the coolant filling point.
The other tank on the right is actually 2 tanks in one. One half serves as an oil catch can with a drain valve that can be easily access by going under in the wheel well and the other half is the coolant overflow tank.
Brake proportioning valve setup.
Custom sway bar support bar... my fab guy went completely overkill on this ahaha...
And finally, this kind of thing here is why my car still doesn't run lol. Billet plenum fresh out the cnc, got it made in 2pc to save myself a ton of cash (at least that's what I like to tell myself)!
The reason behind this is that I decided to switch to a drive by wire throttle body. Tb is a BBK 3.5" for hemi.

Eh you may have to break the bank once more
As for pricing, no idea atm. Started production but I'm still debating whether I want to put a high price tag on it, make limited copies for people willing to spend big money for something unique or to price it for everyone.
Definitely will be!
Imo, car looks like a pile of **** and will till it comes out the paint booth ahah!
Looks like we have something in common
You tell me! Was just too impatient, had to post a pic !
might just be better than a twerk video

Thank you very much, making progress but still far from what I envisioned.

I am so glad I just stumbled on this!! I was looking for ideas on front fenders and then stumbled on this build! I do love a 20B! Amazing handy work here.. Love the lines of the kit too. Shall be keeping an eye on this.
It is going to be unbelievable once it's done! The billet plenum is mad!! Would it not have been more cost effect to machine a form tool and shape sheet ally around it? If you have easy access to CNC then why not though! Looks like you have a pretty decent set-up.. is this just hobby or business as well?
What is your FB so I can keep up to date. you can check my build out on @rspowerprojects if you are interested.
