i have a 94 fd sorry i cant post in the other sections cuz i don't have a enough posts yet but i need help and i need it fast i tried looking up the same problem but there wasn't one like mine i turned on my car yesterday and my coolant light came on with a beeping noise and so i shut it off and the went and got coolant then i put it in and started up my 94rx7 fd still makes the same noise after a bit it stops but i don't no what it is and the place i take it to :rotor sport: in cali is closed on the weekend any advise. i under stand im not suppost to post this in this section i think but i just need help i ham a new poster but please be nice and help me if u no whats the problem is

 

its comes on for a while i dont drive the car but then when it goes off ill drive it its a 3ed gen it just started happening

 

Pressure test your coolant system. Sounds like your coolant seals are done.

 

thanks for the reply but what does that mean i new and i try to take care of my car as best as possibe this is the first problem ive had is it gonna cost alot of money should i get it towed to a specialist its has 97kmiles with a rebluid around 72 k

 

If you don't know what a pressure test is, take it to a specialist.

Cost for a pressure test? Depends on the mechanic. If the test fails quickly, probably an hours diagnostic fee. $75-$150 are the diagnostic fees I see in my area.

If one of the internal coolant seals is bad, be prepared for a a rebuild. That'll cost a couple thousand.
