A collection of parts, and a lot of patience...

I figured I'd start a second build thread over here. The name's Matt and I've had my 93 FD for almost a decade. It's been fun and not so fun along the way. I bought the car locally in the Seattle area and fell in love with it right away. Had around 36k on the odo. Fresh red paint and the same Veilside kit from Fast and the furious. I was lucky to get to drive her for 6 months before the dreaded coolant seal failure. I found a "tuning shop" to help me out, and after a year and a half, I had her back on the road- kind of... the shop closed down and I took the car to a few others to fix a few issues. Everytime that I'd go for a drive, the car would get a ride home on a flatbed. I managed to put 1500 miles on the car before breaking the engine during the break in period. Lacking tools, a cramped garage and experience with cars in general I found someone who might be able to help. One broken promise after another and 5 long years, the car lay dormant minus a day or two every year when I was invited to work on it. The separation from the car was really a downer and I began to pursue other ways to spend my time and money. Last year she came home and sat in my garage all winter. I finally got my motivation back with the weather getting better. So, follow along with me as I try to move ahead with my build. Here's a link to what I've been up to so far. https://www.rx7club.com/nw-rx-7-foru...-build-636633/

Here's a before and after. I was never fond of the Veilside kit, as it didn't flow with the lines of the car. I didn't mind the look of the rear with the fins though. The new look that I'm going with carries a similar theme on the rear. I added up what I've spent on just the exterior parts, 20k. OUCH!!! Oh well, It's in need of some bodywork now. Then some house of kolor paint before things start getting put back together. I'm debating what color to go with, leaning towards a metallic charcoal grey to blend in with my twin weave carbon fiber parts. Any suggestions?
