Dude that's great! I'm guessing you have the +38s? I actually just sold the NT03's and was going to test fit some of the RPF1's tomorrow. I'll still go just to be 1000%

I'll throw in a little update to the thread, I've hardwired my fuel pump, and broke my oil temp sensor before my first track day last weekend. So I didn't make it considering my car had no oil in it. Hoping to have new wheels and tires mounted next weekend. Still on the search for 99 spec combo lights and lip so I can get mine painted and installed. Also on the lookout for a spoiler and a new exhaust. Retune will be coming once I get a wideband installed on the car.

Showed my brakes some love with some fresh paint and a new sticker since the last one was all torn up. Plan on cleaning up that nasty corrosion this weekend since I won't have centercaps anymore.

And gave my engine bay a small paint job

I love them, thinking about picking up some street pads so they don't destroy my new wheels. Looking at Project Mu ns400 pads.

I would love a big APR GTC-300 but I'll probably end up with a 99 spec. The brakes had been on the car before I got it, then removed to sell the car. I bargained with the previous owner to include them in the sale. However they were off the car so I just had to reinstall them. They are a nice piece that will help at the track / autox days.

If you're going high-end pads, I'd also recommend Endless. Enjoyed their mx72 compound with my stock setup. A very nice tweener pad.

You know.. that's a good question. The clubs that I've run with haven't posted any future event dates. I'm trying to make it to a track day at Homestead and Sebring very soon, I'm trying to become and instructor. Missing Sebring this weekend since I won't have tires on my car in time. However I would love to meet up and do an autox with you, I know they have one in Ft Myers at the airfield there which I've heard is a lot of fun and my buddies have been wanting to go.

Rpf1's mounted up, here are some quick shots. I want to lower the car a little to close up the gap. If I can get the collars to unlock on the coils. Also I want to point out this is currently on not rolled fenders, with a two finger gap on the 255/40 Hankook RS3' (9.6" Tread Width) on the 17x10 +38 RPF1.

God those look beautiful. I love them.

As for a Ft. Meyers autocross; I'd plan to stay over night for an event that far away from me. Plus it gives me a half a day to explore the town.

Thanks! I would also stay the night there, it's only about 2 hours from me, but why not. I hear they make like 2 or 3 minute runs out there.

Car looks good bro!

Roll your front fenders soon tho, I caught my lip going in a driveway and messed it up pretty good till I rolled them almost flat.

I've actually caught it with my old set up and rolled it back with something less than optimal. I'm just waiting for my friend to bring his roller by so I can take care of that. If I lower the car it will pull camber in a little as well.

Recaro has landed! In my car...
Also lost my original key so that was an excuse to pick up an efini one(my miata cameo in the back). Wideband finally purchased now it's time to install.

The fact that I have no idea what a 356 numbered key is makes me feel like I possibly should have done some researching before buying this key, haha! Oh well if it doesn't work I'll get a regular oem one.

Noo way does it? And also, I'm going to be attending the MSCC Tavares Autocross. It's far for me so it's even further for you. But who knows? I'd like to make it to a South Florida event.

And here are some pictures while I was bored this long weekend. I guess I was not bored enough to wash my car though. I just placed an order on some Stoptech street pads because my current pads are literally ridiculous for road use, those will stay off the car until they are needed. It's really quick and easy to change the pads. This should save my wheels from an untimely death due to brake dust.

I have a few more things I'd like to accomplish before I make it to a track day. A medium size intercooler, 2nd oil cooler, complete restoration brake job and bearings, racing seat and finally a tune. I'm not sure if my potenzas RE-11s are up for the laps either. But for now it's autocross for me. My location is awkward to not travel to different autocross events around central Florida. So it its over 2 hours away, I make it a two day overnight stay for me and my fiancé . Saturday we'd normally arrive early morning to the city and go for a cruise and visit various shops and restaurants. Then the event happens on Sunday to have some fun.
