Ok been doing some some sand blasting and bushings this week. The rotors are just temporary but I thought I would give them a once over on the blaster, results were amazing.
A few pics of the car in its current state of dysfunction. Backyard is a result of what happens when a Portuguese Redneck, A Jamaican and a Asian guy all live in the same house.
Should have the suspension etc. done by next week, and will start electrical, interior and engine. Then the car goes to paint!

Umm, Thanks!
Hey Howard those tires are not even staying on there, they are going on another FD at my house. I will be running Nitto NT555R II's 305 in the rear and 285 up front more than likely.

I really like how those calipers came out! I wish I'd had a sandblaster on hand when I did mine. I did blast my suspension arms and they obviously looked just like yours. Take my work for it though man, clearcoat them or paint them or something before you put them back on the car. I'm thinking about taking mine back off to blast them again and cover them with a coating of some kind because they pretty much attract dirt at this point.
And if you don't have a drill press, you can use sockets and a press like I did to change my bushings. I just took them to my shop on Pope AFB at about 4am one morning LOL.
I'm loving those RE-A headlights too, even the incomplete way they are right now lol. And you sure did redneck it up on that back yard huh? You weren't joking LOL. Tell Z to stop watching World Cup and get to work on your car lol.
Mine?? YES!!!! LOL

Yeah I was already talking to Z about clear coating all the suspension arms, I already bought a press and arms and the appropriate sockets.
Kellen didn't tell you I already stole your tires and replaced them with my old ones.... hmmmm
I do love the headlights, you should see it with the bumper and covers on, it lines up perfect

I agree with you guys, blasting is fun as **** haha, just watching all the old dirt and scum come off and starting fresh. Yeah.
Good idea on coating the arms. I might have to do mine again and have him clear them haha. Also, when I was swapping my bushings I kinda bent one of the arms. I bent it back and then took it over to NDI shop (Non-Destructive Inspection) and they x-rayed it for me, I still have the x-ray LOL.
No, she didn't tell me you stole my tires already. DRAT!
Glad they're lining up for you, very seldom does that happen for me haha. I still want a set of those, I want the ones with the hole for air flow though, mmmmmmm. I'd take the ones you have too though haha. So classy looking. Actually, I'll trade you the tires for the headlights, it's just about an even swap actually LOL.

No trades I like them to much lol
I like the pop-ups to, but there is just so much involved in them, I'm a keep it simple stupid type of person.
Thanks for the comments, and I'll tell you what- I want to see it done too lol!

Damn, Howard has some serious **** going on. I've only read part of the first page but I love that manifold. Very different than anything I've ever seen before.
Maybe Z is just that good at acting. LOL
And how are you ever going to finish before I get back if you're out playing craps? LOL
You never tested anything.... If you did I think Z would have known a little more about them, unless he was just playing dumb lol. But he's not that smart...

Sand blasted the piece behind the rotor too huh? LOL looks good. And Zico is right, that steering wheel is kickass. I might have to try to steal that when I get back. LOL Did you get the suspension stuff clear-coated? Also, what's up with the wiring there for the fuel pump?
I think you're gonna love those coilovers too. It feels like almost no roll around a corner. Did you ever ride in mine?

I am going to wait to clear coat the rear suspension stuff for when I decide to replace the diff, also I want to pull the rear sub frame at that time and power wash/sand blast everything else.
I did ride in your car with the stances, I agree that I will like them, if I don't swap over to the Ohlins.
My power goal will be 500+ on the one tune, and 600+ on the other.
