Try using walnut. You can get it from the pet store for cheap (the sell it as pet litter, works just as well but alot cheaper). And pour some automotive polish into the media like nu finish.

Benny, I may be selling my RP1s, talk to me about it when you see me at the next meet.

Glad the hot-pink Limited Edition IRP motor mounts were put to good use

So what's the reason for 17's over 18's? My 18's have your name on them hahaha.

Is your oven big enough to powerdercoat rims? Or do you have to take rims somewhere special since they take a beating on the road?

some updated pictures... went to a local car show and here are a few pics my friend snapped for me...

alternator broke as i failed to align the brushes correctly while i was putting it back together so ill need a new one.

UIM will come off to get powder coated pink

LIM manifold and turbo hotside will be coming off as well so i can ceramic coat them.

4" exhaust will come off as well so i can TRY to fab up the 3" to connect to the 4" downpipe... its short about 8 inches so ill need to get some piping and get it welded up..

also need to rebleed the brakes as they still feel a little soft

and hopefully next week will pick up my new set of rims!

thanks to dave for lending me his alternator off his car so i could make it to the show lol and dennis for lending me the rims ahhaa

decided to add my fabrication projects in my build thread so ill continue in here...

so i failed already.... proportion were off...

center is 18" which should be 24"
width should be 6" wider on each side
the center "tunnel" opening should start an inch lower
tunnel should be .5" lower (more clearance)
depth will be cut 1"
middle rear thing? (inside of tires) should be 4" wider on each side..
the slant from the center opening and sides should add an inch to the angle..

sorry the wording sucks... camera is broken so i cant see what i take pictures of so you cant read my labeled diagram...

will proto type another one and see how it comes out...

few more pics...

Looks almost exact to the CC diffuser. I had one when I first got my FD. Best diffuser hands down...It just hangs so low you get clearance issues
