A few random things:
The rubber strip on the 99 lip can be taken off, it's just there to save you from the first few scrapes.
You're going to like those Hella horns, they are LOUD
Did you get used R888s? I'd be very careful with those suckers on the street in anything that's not warm dry weather.

thats what i figured for the lip.. never seen anyone rock it tho so wasnt sure if it was common... what should i use to clean off the sticky stuff thats left behind it? something that wont fade the lip color...?
haha hella horns are coool! never heard them in real life nor did i ever have a horn in the FD so it should be funn
yeah the r888 are used.. hope they last me long enough for this year... and give me traction on the dragon lol... Hope it doesnt rain for dgrr

car update...
routed one of the abs lines.. wasnt too hard, need the fittings to connect it tho.. anyone know where i can buy em?
Painted half the engine bay.. came out okay. i hate painting and sanding, plus im terrible at it.
plugged the omp lines
any tips to clean the engine block? besides simple green and a brush?

I'm rooting for you to get this finished before deals. If we both make it
to the event with our fully redone engine bays, I propose a toast and cheers
to the progress. If not, one of us has to buy a beer for the other and pour it out in honor of the fallen :-) keep on trucking bro!

a mini update.... so i decided to polish my engine instead of painting it silver.... so the block will be black and polished aluminum.... i started the polish with a wire wheel and dremel... need to spend more time on it... its getting shinnierrr
various parts that were sand blasted and painted, covers/plates/brackets (black-powder coated silver-sprayed)
Tumbler at work... bolts are fairly clean, but still trying to get them to reallyyyy shine...
swapping out to new abbrasive to hopefully make em shinnierr

NOTE: i am a amature powder coater, this is my first attempt so the candy purple doesnt always come out even (im still learning) its very hard to do a 2 stage coat.. 1 coats easyy, but once you use the tranclucent/candy color, it gets verry difficult.

currently resealing the oil pan (leak)
adding banzai brace
powder coating scheme has changed from purple to pink

soooo my 4" exhaust is too loud and i constantly am getting pulled over just for that so gonna reduce it from the dp to 3" butttttt just my luck my vband on my old set up is a greddy flange which is different from every other effing vband in the world. fail.
