paint the whole muffler with POR15 exhaust paint, they have flat black, and it will not burn off.

do they really? i used por15 as my basecoat for the engine bay and was tempted to paint other things with it but i didnt think it would withstand the heat... good to know they have exhaust paint

Nice to meet you today benny,
It's Jack

I have the Apexi Noir Exhaust on my car.. you should have looked at it.

I have to say the car is coming together nicely. It's definitely getting there.

I definitely can't wait till it fires up! you should just get a nice SMIC to finish the touch for staying Modified factory

What did you spray your subframe with?

I've been thinking of doing this, but would like some sort of protective material to be used. Rhino lining? Any other options?

engine subframes were sandblasted/wire brushed then coated with por15 for protectant. then used rustoleum paint over it for appearance

not sure what rhino lining is... is that like truck bed lining?

ACT 6puck sprung

birthday present that i got from the girl friend that is yettttt to be installed...

finally got to use my vibrating tumbler!!! this thing is wickedddddd- for those who dont know you toss your bolts into it and add some abrasive (im using cork) and leave it for 24+ hours and it will clean all your bolts! only a few hours in and those bolts are looking better!!

getting the hang of the 2 stage candy color powder coating... not the BEST quality but hey, for my first time and attempting 2 coats, hell it will suffice until next year when i strip it and redo everything again lol.. the color is pretty dope, looks similar to the hks purple

Your build is coming along, will be interested in seeing the car at DGRR

A few random things:

The rubber strip on the 99 lip can be taken off, it's just there to save you from the first few scrapes.

You're going to like those Hella horns, they are LOUD

Did you get used R888s? I'd be very careful with those suckers on the street in anything that's not warm dry weather.

Yeah, I've got 275 R888's in the rear, very slippery when wet. In the cold they seem to warm up very quickly though.
