So here is some history on the car.. The last set up in the engine bay was a street port 13b,rotors were clearanced and the engine was pinned, oil mod, 1680's and 760's for injectors, dual walbro 255's, custom manifold, bullseye power s372 with billet wheel and race cover, tial 46 wg, 4" exhaust, & AEM meth injection, ran by a electromotive tec3R




Ray at PFS was able to make 710whp @40lbs on c16

The new setup will be changing to a typhoon intake manifold made by pro-jay, 8 bosh 210 lb injectors and 4 1680's, S483 Dual Batmo-wheel turbo, new exhaust manifold to fit this milk crate turbo lol, dual walbro 400 e85 pumps, and a LT16, the engine will now be a semi-pp street port with a balanced assembly,still pinned and clearanced of course, and change the I/C to an air to water unit. This time the race tune will be done on e85 or 98

 

So I pulled the engine and got to cleaning but before that... Some test fitting!

careful with those injectors if youre running e85 with premix; a couple of the time attack guys here in aus have hurt motors due to lean-outs caused by premix blocking those injectors.

love that semi-pp motors are becoming more popular now; and that projay manifold looks great, i'm modifying an xcessive LIM to suit a semi-pp motor for my next build.

I will be running those injector in the near future premix...

 

So I haven't updated in a long time and I got a few things done first was to mock up the manifold

 

that's where I was thinking of placing the I/C core but I went with this route instead

Gave the backside a little more breathing room

Resurfaced that bad boy and bolted the backside on

Time to take this dummy engine out and get working on the real one!

 

Had to polish the cast elbow that got welded to the I/C core

Everything is almost out

Time to build the keg
First time to open the ports up to cosmo and they're huge!

Well to be honest... Yeah lol use it till it breaks! It held up fine for the multiple 700hp pulls ray made so why not.

Figuring out the fuel line situation




Wound up using a old Chevy alternator bracket, one of the polished jobs from advanced auto (nice and cheap lol) to hold the regulator up

 

Manifolds off for the last time
And tapped the typhoon lower for a 3/8 push to lock

And even though you can't see them I'll still know they could have been shiny lol





And you really can't trust anyone these days, double check everything!
