And so, later on, he split it wide open as we pulled into Fuzzys Taco Shop on west Berry street @ TCU. And he fixed it. Lol

Lots has happened. Got lazy and didn't feel like updating anymore.

1) Destroyed my radiator twice...but salvaged it.
2) redid my vmount mounting
3) made a cool catch can out of a Sapporo Beer can
4) More low
5) Had cool pictures taken
6) Rubbed chassis harness...shorted out powerfc. unrepairable. Now have an expensive brick and more than likely making the switch to a haltech sprint re. So right now the car is just sitting...waiting....only got to really drive it for about a month :\

Plans are:
Haltech Sprint RE
Find fuel leak
Delete ABS
Do some rewiring
Pull Dash and do racecar stuff.

anyways cool pics:

Looking good, keep your spirits up she will live again soon enough. The amount of money you can pile into these cars is purely insane lol.

Hahaa I hear you, I just turned 23 last month, bought my rx7 this summer and had to pay thousands to import etc. Some people say its a waste of time and money, but this is my passion. I just started learning basic tuning with the pfc so that should keep me busy all summer. Glad you came back, keep the updates coming and hopefully you can follow along on my thread too once it warms up a bit here.

Lucky for me I'm just past the school stage of things. I'm in the same field, but doing a job that pays twice as much and doesn't require any schooling lol. Gotta love mining.

Who took the most recent pics, they turned out nice :o

Yeah I figured I would come back to update some more haha. Been busy. Probably going to start a tear down of the car tomorrow. Tuning is something I'm still trying to learn at least the basics on.

Recent pics were from a photoshoot with some guys here in texas, you can see the full feature here: Rotary Relaxation – The Fitted Agency

Thanks man! Nope, bought and installed the oil coolers. And no drawbacks so far to the vmount. A little higher air temps but that will be fixed with a vented hood.

Anyways stripping the interior:

It's only a PITA if you don't use enough dry ice.

Car is looking great.

Haha, I know. I'm using dryice but some parts are a bit harder than others. Driverside was much easier than the PS.

Thanks, haltech should be ordered here in the next few days.

The tunnel itself is super tricky. I'll be hating my life pretty soon on a FD myself. Only did this on mt 99 miata.

Some updates. Kinda going in the opposite direction of running at this point LOL. BUT got a sweet new MS shift **** from my girlfriend installed my new FFE injector inserts, made my LIM look like a spaceship, bought Alex's ABS delete kit and installed it, pulled the motor, resealed oil pan. Finally employed so hopefully haltech is coming soon!

Thanks and sorta. The carpet sometimes melts to the sound deadening. Also the foam sticks in a lot of places. Needless to say it was all a pain lol.

Thanks Gordon! and yes the paint is supposedly like a honda red or something. I've parked it with other vr's and its a LOT brighter, less crimson-y

And Benny, its kinda just pushed in there. I cut the din slot and then made a panel that was slightly larger. It pushes in between some pegs. Ghetto, but it works lol

If i get a chance i can pull off the panel and send you a pic. Kinda just a pain though because of everything wired through it.

LOL i did it the super ghetto way. Just masked off the big parts with newspaper and used a piece of cardboard for other areas as I sprayed. It looked cool for like 2months now it is all scratched and I want to legit paint it. But for me its super easy to remove the motor. I dont have p/s, a/c, it's single turbo so its simple there. I literally just popped the throwout bearing out. undid like 8 bolts and a few connectors and done.
