Whose building your motor alex? silverturbo6port is selling his short block...might be worth it to pick it up and build your motor as a spare. I'm putting together a spare as soon as my car hits the dyno.

Alex,
That's nice portwork. Specifcially what tool are you using to polish the runners and port bowl?

Glad to see you have it all back together AND IT RUNS!!!

Regards,
Crispy

A couple random thoughts:

**You really damaged the hell out of the rotors/housings..... I think something else must have been going on. I can't count the number I've times that I've went WOT at 1/4 tank of gas with no problems. You detonated like a BOSS, the question is why ?

**Nice portwork. If that's your first time you did a damn good job.

**Did you use engine assembly lube during the build?

**Why the solid corner seals?

**I like what you did w/the coolant nipple on the rear iron. Are you going to follow suit on the front of the T-stat housing? Looks like there's a rubber vacuum cap on there right now, which won't last.

Great job with all of it, definitely rotary ****

Thanks Guys

SHE IS ALIVE!!!!!!

I tried to do a compression test and the battery was dead but still managed to hit 120psi. Got a new battery and compression was solid better than my old motor. After all was put together I fired her up on first try. She burned off all the gunk and I adjusted the idle to 1100rpm and she holds a nice fast BRAPP BRAPP BRAPP.

Rich-Yes sir all port work done by me its my 3rd time. Not hard at all just takes time. I used vaseline, tranny fluid and maxtuff by royalpurple for the lubes. I went with Solid corners because of my FC i had a couple years ago thing was a beast 468whp and never had an issue.

The rear iron nipple ahhhhhh, yeah its leaking it has a small pinhole so i will have to remove the manifold and weld it back up.

I'm not quite sure from the pic, but did you remove the metal insert, or just cut it flush and then weld it?

To make sure you don't have a leak you've got to pull the insert and then weld.
