94 R2 N/A 3 Rotor Build
Been following you thread for years now. Its a beautiful car and I'm happy to see more NA 3 rotors out there. You guys (including the builder) are pioneers for the NA 3 rotors. Hopefully in the future Mazda starts mass producing beautiful engines like these again.
Congrats on a beautiful 1 of a kind build.

Not sure if they are around, but Samberg is making something similar FD 4-Point Roll Bar | Samberg Performance

Tried to do some GoPro stuff, but count find my external mic adapter. So, all vids are about useless with the wind noise. Here is a small clip for now:

^ Thanks guys. She does sound good! Ill get some more vids as soon as a new mic adapter comes in. I also had a bit of a mishap last night and a small oil line split on me. Easy fix but caused a headache for sure.
The power is acceptable, and about what I had imagined. I guess it all depends on your frame of reference. Ive been fortunate enough to experience some very quick street cars over the years. Have friends with procharged Z06s and stroked LSxs and stuff. The car is quick don't get me wrong, and will be a blast on a road course

So, it may seem out of the blue in context to this thread, but something that has been rolling around in my head for the better part of the year. I believe I will be selling the car. I have been pursuing a business opportunity, and there is the possibility I will be relocating for work in the near future. It sucks as there has been so much into the car from me in the past couple years.. but I believe it would be the best decision and some sacrifice now may afford me the opportunity for better things in the future. It would be easiest to sell the car complete, but I may consider selling a "drivetrain package" (Engine/trans/ecu/wiring) so someone could basically bolt it in their car and go.

I'd love to buy it and tame it but I don't have the resources around me to care for a single turbo FD much less 3 rotor.
I suggest keeping it and selling the trans (go standard t56) and go back to the stock brake setup.
Then you have a pretty cool track/weekend car.
Amazing sound in that vid clip with the NA 20B sound, short ratios and quick shifting gearbox.
Definitely makes me want one of my own!
Still, I would sell the FD and if you get the hankering to drive an FD again just pick up a clean stock or basic bolt on FD.
Now that you have done the NA 20B you see it has the same peak hp, 100ftlbs less torque and trades a whole lot of cost and driveability for its (undeniable) cool factor.
NA 20B makes sense for a track **** or expensive toy and that is about all.
...and I still want one.

I'm sad to hear you selling it , and if I had the money i'd probably pick it up .. 350 whp seems like just a ton of fun at the track . without the whole overheating / hot intake air temp issueso f a turbo .

Exactly!
