Looking forward to seeing the final results. I had the good fortune to see one of these cars/kits at Feed in Osaka. Initially, I wasn't a big fan, but it grew on me once I saw it in person.

Best of luck with the build.

I agree, it does take a second to get used to how the kit changes a already attractive car. After giving the kit a second look, I started finding the kits features to have kinda a exotic feel. The goal for the build is mainly street car, but can perform on the track as well. This being the first rotary I work on, I'm pretty stoked!

I've been kinda sick and not as motivated to start to pulling the motor. I finally removed the interior again. I'm about to clean her up and start taking her apart to just a shell. I don't want to rip out the harness though, because I think I'm going to just drop the stock 13b back in the car after paint. Today a couple goodies arrived in the mail.

"Finally!" got started on pulling the engine. Stuff from one of the sponsors Mishimoto sent out a bunch of goodies.

Did a quick degrease and pressure wash.

Had a lot of parts cluttered everywhere from a few cars. So I spend a bit reorganizing the garage and picked up a little storage bin from Homedepot for parts.

The only place to my knowledge you can order the kit from is Fujita Engineering, "FEED".

you realize that you have no choice but to bring this car to every rotary event in the US right?

like you are obligated for the sake of all of our sanities on this forum to bring this car at least to DGRR and to Seven Stock...

This. ^^

You must bring this magical beast to Nor Cal so I may thrust my manhood upon it's bonnet and boot and undulate until I keel over from exhaustion.

Haha, thanks for the positive comment guys. A couple of those boxes were for the XB you see in the pics. The FD got a radiator, fan shroud kit, oil coolers, a bunch of nice clamps and couplers. Got off the phone with Cusco today, and received partial sponsorship from them! So, should be getting some things from them shortly. As for shows, the car is supposed to participate in SEMA, but hopefully it is finished before then. It will come out to Cali for a few shows, I'm sure.

I asked because, we are the only authorized Fujita Engineering dealer in the USA. You actually ordered direct?

The kit is nice, good luck

Thanks man, I actually checked your site out after I seen your post. The kit was ordered directly from them. I might have to order a couple things from you.

Okay soo, I'm asking for some advice (not meaning to try to push me away from this idea). The car is getting some brembo race brakes. It has 6 pistons in the front, 4 in the rear, and I'm planning the whole brake setup right now. The plan is to keep ABS, (trying to see if I can get a hold of bosch M4 pump). Also with a dual master cylinder. Has anyone on here tried a similar setup on here with a better ABS unit? looked, but couldn't find anything..

these cars are from 93... if i was to keep abs I would look into a complete system replacement to a more modern system.

I haven't been working on the car as much. I unhooked the harness from the engine and folded it back. I also got to experience the rats nest you all are so fond of. trying to just unhook the tranny from the engine and pull it. I seen the engine had more work than I thought. seen the rats nest wasn't completely correct, some bolts worn, etc.. So I'm trying to take the aftermarket clutch off, heres some shitty pics. Im under a car a foot off the ground lol. I seen how you're supposed to push the ring toward the flywheels, but is that thicker gold ring the one I need to push? I tried and didn't get any play, and dont want to damage it either.

Also some of the Cusco stuff came in
