Arrow 400 hp single turbo over haul!!!! pic heavy

Hey guys, I am redoing alot of wiring in my 93 rx7, cleaning up the engine bay, and redoing my speakers, I will document it all here, enjoy the pics and feel free to ask any questions!!

I finally got a house with a garage so I am pulling all the speaker wiring out and redoing it, I also collected about 5 pounds worth of excess wire that was not needed. And the car also had 2 GPS units inside of it....Weird.

Enjoy the pictures.

Here is what it looked like at the start.

Barely any trunk space at all with the speakers and bose system in there.

Look at this cluster **** of wires that the previous owner had going on.

Oh god just look at all these wires.

I dont even know why there is a modem wire in the bundle of wires.

tracking all the wires to see where they go.

pulling them to make sure im only getting the wiring i want out.

Found a GPS reciever under the dash along with some weird small cylinder speaker thing.

took these wires off and redid that wiring.

more random wires

All said and done there was about 5 pounds of bullshit speaker and useless wiring i found.

Now to run new speaker wire to the rear speakers.

all new wire to the rear speakers.

put the previous owners bullshit speakers back in the rear, i grinded the corners off so I could get them to fit, he had just drilled them into the sides. ill be getting new speakers when the brackets come in.

here is what it looks like after its grinded and fit in there.

I want to change out my head unit but I'm afraid to pull the dash apart.

The dash is fairly easy. If you have an OEM head unit...that thing sucks *** trying to get out.

Ok, so this morning I got the speakers wired up and put the new head unit in and it worked fine, i just had to adjust the positive terminal on the rear right speaker.

I spend the WHOLE day degreasing the engine bay, painting all the intercooler piping, painting all the brackets with a heat resistant black paint. I was going to move my boost controller but decided to just keep it there, I also added a turbo blanket and moved some coolant lines around.

Enjoy the pictures!!

start of the day, im always embarrased of showing off my engine juts because of how unclean it looks. I was going to fix that.

these 2 lines that run 2 the ast were just hanging out looking like **** so I decided to move them.

Bam they are tucked.

the bracket the boost controllers were on and some other things looked like ****, metal was kinda corroded so i decided to pull it off and paint it.

also put my turbo blanket on.

lip painted and ready to go on.

here is the bracket on after it was painted.

here it is all said and done with that bracket.

pulled this bracket to do the same thing.
