I have a 1993 rx7 with a 4.3 rear axle ratio installed. I'm trying to locate the correct speedo "driven" gear for it. All USA 3rd gen came with 4.1 (manual) or 3.91 (auto) gear. Mazda made a model designated "RZ" for Australian & home market with a 4.3 axle, but I can't find a gear for it. Some 2nd generations had the 4.3 but the speedo was mechanically driven. That speedo gear is readily available and removable from its "housing". The question is whether that gear will work on my electric speedo? Also, Mazda made a 929 with a 4.3 axle and electric speedo. Will that unit fit the RX7?
