Drove the car about 1:30 mins to north jersey to my buddy house to pick up a set of feed sidesteps and we snapped a quick picture

<a href="http://s1174.photobucket.com/user/drobinson42/media/IMG_7847_zpsijirm4lm.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/r601/drobinson42/IMG_7847_zpsijirm4lm.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_7847_zpsijirm4lm.jpg"/></a>

Than drove back home fine with no issues and solid engine and IAT's and out of no where had the low coolant light come out..got home and later that weekend tested the system and realized I had a coolant seal failure without and signs of overheating, and I drove on this exact setup/ radiator bleeding for 3 months prior to this happening well time for another rebuild

So I got started on tearing the motor out to take it to JPR as I had a show in 3 weeks that I needed to attend and with Jim being such a great guy and doing such great work I was more than happy to have him help me out

Argueably one of the sketchiest momenst ever was driving the motor over to the shop in the back of my pickup it was tied down nice and tight but i think i was looking in my rear view more than my windshield...thank for its only a 10 minute ride

Jim cleaning up the ports for me

Your V-mount looks almost exactly like mine, just with a smaller intercooler. Great setup, I want that roll cage bad! How much is one?

Yeah I must say that is probably my favorite upgrade I've done to the car yet has been the vmount temps are rock solid, and I bought a bs core for this year its the cxracing core but its 4in thick and runs 30c IATs in the middle of hot humid jersey summers so I'm not mad...plan on getting a spearco core w the same dimensions an having my welder re-weld tanks for me.

and new I'm not 100% sure this was out of Jims streetcar and he gave me an awesome deal on it, i must say installing the rear legs can get a little tricky so if you do get one please shoot me a PM and I will help you all I can with walking you through it for the proper fitment.

That will be on my next list of modifications. Where did you get the rad hoses? I have some pretty make shift hoses. Also can you send me some photos of the mounting tabs you made for the rad? You can respond in a PM if you dont want to clutter up your build thread.

Thanks.

The hoses were a trial and error type of thing, continuously running back and forth to the local autoparts store and getting hoses that looked like they'd fit than just cutting the to length if need be. And the rad is the rx7store radiator kit that came pre welded w the mounting tabs in the box, you just had to drill into the tabs to fit them in the position that worked for your front bumper/ride height

DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN!!! ps...prepare to read a lot lmao

Well now is the time that I've been waiting for ever since I first bought the FD just over 2 years ago now. Slowly but surely saving up on a college students budget Ive garnered enough cash to embark on a single turbo build. With all the new turbine technology out on the market there has been a ton of consideration as to what turbo I wanted to run and fuel setups to supply enough juice for this thirsty bastard. My ideal goal for this build is to maximize turbine response but not choke out similar how to some 35r setups do up top. My goal is to have a safe and reliable and stupid fast spooling 450hp tune with pump and meth and than maximize the setup with a 25psi setup and hopefully over 500whp with JPR's aggressive street port and exhaust porting I think it should be possible. Finding a turbo to produce numbers like this and have 450hp close to the 3500rpm range was definitely going to be stretch in itself.... But After a ton of consideration and being called crazy by numerous people Ive decided to go with the borg warner EFR8374 ewg turbine setup using a Turblown manifold and dual turbosmart 40mm wastegates. And for fuel this setup Im looking to still retain the factory primary rail but drop in stock secondary 850s as primaries, tap the primary rail for -6 feeds and and have them coincide with the FFE secondary rail which is going to have two 2000cc secondary injectors working to feed the motor. Obviously for this kind of injector setup my current single denso supra pump wasn't going to suffice, I was told by many to just throw another denso pump into the mix and run a dual pump setup but I'd rather not over complicate things if there happens to be a single pump on the market that can provide enough fuel for my setup which I soon found in the Walbro 485. After crunching some numbers noting that this pump is capable of producing 750+ piston horsepower on the low side by itself running pump gas I divided that 750 by 1.3 and realized that this pump is capable of producing upwards of 575-600whp+ rotary horsepower. I feel as though I have ignition covered being as I am running a brand new Twin Power with brand new ignition coils. I have also recently purchased a 3.5" exhaust system and on a side note sold my works in place of another set of either Volks, Works, or Advans. If anyone has any advice as to how they think I should go about this setup or if my fuel setup will be capable please feel free to let me know. I've taken a lot of notes out of XLR8's book on the fuel system. And of course...pics coming soon

Sounds good, I was trying to avoid having to run a a full aftermarket primary rail and buying new injectors but if need be I will do so. And thanks a lot, glad you like them

Firstly, car looks amazing and your various builds have all looked sweet (both engine and aesthetically). Secondly, I am super jealous of your mechanic abilities (I have to rely on a talented local shop that has done my previous 2 car projects RB25 powered 240 and turbo s2k); and lastly, WHERE ARE THE NEW PICS!!!

Great job overall man. Extremely inspiring and you are very lucky to have a good quality rotary shop close to home.

Wow man I really apologize about just seeing this but I really appreciate the kind words. My mechanical skills aren't the greatest but like they say you learn but trying new things and after a while it does become easier than most would think (especially since your ridding yourself of all the complicated nonsense mazda put in) hahah But, as far as new pics go, I just haven't gotten around to uploading them...had an issue w a plate earlier this year and the cars been sitting since so once I start my new build I will deff update the thread!
