My summer project is to completely restore my rx7 to like new condition. I have two months until I leave for grad school, so I'm having the engine and tranny done by evil genius racing, while I restore every inch of the interior and exterior myself.

Starting with - 80k Montego blue with tan interior.

Goals I would like to meet.
All reliability mods.
Red leather seats
1999 Nardi Wheel.
black interior
Custom rear bins with AI and Relocated miniature battery with solar maintainer.
1999 spec tail-light conversion.
Repaint car blue- thinking bayside blue.
Powder coat stock rims.
Lower with coilovers.

I would appreciate feedback on how my improvements look and any ideas on what else I can do. Thanks guys.

 

Dirty Tan passenger seat








Hog rings weren't allowing me to suck the leather down into the cracks of the foam so I used nylon dip ties.












Dirty plastic on the left and cleaned on the right. I don't plan on keeping tan but wanted to see what it looked like fully assembled.
